Re: New Zealand retailers?
No restriction, I get heaps of RPG books sent here. But as I said the free shipping on orders to NZ over 125US only applies to books sent from Amazon's warehouses, not those sold on Amazon by associated sellers. I could order the DCC RPG Core book but it would cost a bomb shipping.

If, big if, you have $125 to order it is free shipping to NZ. So I now buy in large lumps (about 5 or 6 RPG books at a time)

Oh for the good old days of free shipping for orders over 10 Pounds from amazon.co.uk

Re: The Case AGAINST Elf Spellburn
I think going from 0 level chandler owning nothing but some scissors and candles, to a warrior-wizard god with a FREE(!) suit of mithril is the biggest disconnect in DCC. I love the down and gritty start of DCC PCs and initially just ignored the free mithril for elves, find it yourself IMO. However ...

Re: Matching DCC-appropriate Dice Sets Possible!
I would like two (maybe three), however I am in New Zealand, would that cause a problem? Estimate of price from the UK. normally UK shipping to NZ is not that bad, strangely cheaper than from the US! It shouldn't be a problem, but if you were really strapped for cash, you could wait until I emigrat...

I am quite interested to see the sheets of higher level Wizards or other PCs, to see how they have changed/been changed over the course of the campaign. ANd by this I am talking of funnel survivors that have made it big. So has anyone got some PCs, and hopefully some of their stories, to tell? Cheers

Re: Still looking for an easy encumbrance system?
Swords and Wizardry have an easy system too, your 'general gear' is expected to weight 10lbs (for me that is too light for what most adventurers pile in their packs!) and only track armour, weapons and loot weight. Saves a lot of problem with tracking each piton or days worth or iron rations. Howeve...

In Freeport, IIRC, NPCs are listed as low medium or high level, and the DM can decide what that means. It is a great product.
