I ran that module once. Got myself six PC-Kill stickers to put on my DM screen for it.

Side note: (semi-seriously) is the module for 1st Ed. that was made for GenCon going to be commercially available for the rest of us? Joseph made sure that copies would be available after the con. They'll be available on the site store soon. But if I was after a copy, I'd make sure to order it as s...

I am hoping that the (soon to be) older edition modules will still be available. I have quite a ways to go and things to do with the current ruleset. One campaign is at level 2 and another is at 12. I don't see either being done by next summer (well, unless they all die muahahaha!). Or, y'all could ...

Now we are well and done playing Cage of Delirium. I have definitely got to get a sheet of those "PC Death" stickers for my DM Screen. Yup, another one bites the dust in the final encounter. Even still my brother accuses me of being a 'soft DM' when it comes to gaming. :? In Room 23 there ...

We almost finished Cage of Delirium. Playing it until 7am. Yeah, it was that good. We still have a little bit left to go (such as entering the secret laboratory). Can't wait!

This is one of the BEST DCCs out there. And I have played quite a few.

DCC 35A Halls of the Minotaur- TPK

*Spoilers* My team took a rather unexpected route into the tower. They actually managed to make it upriver using ropes and well rolled swim checks. After landing on the beach and discovering the fun of a kobold style beach party they rested and continued into the dungeon. Up till now the only dead c...

I doubt this will be a 'regular' feature, but it is the second time it has happened. The first KODT DCC was in #117. Go see if your FLGS still has it! :D

DCCs in KoDT!

I couldn't believe mine eyes. A DCC in KoDT?! The introduction paragraph looks the same. It's like the best got better ... I'm going to cry. If I am just late on this , forgive me please. I will admit to being somewhat sporadic about collecting KoDT. I love that mag. But so does eveyone else ...

I have a question about this game: Will we be getting a conversion set for C&C or D&D3? Why I ask this: I am in process of segueing into C&C from D&D3. One thing that helps is there are DCCs ready for me to play using C&C. I just got the Mysterious Tower for C&C! :D So now I ...

Wow!
I love that Tablet Golem. The fingerprints aren't obvious from where I'm sitting. Maybe looks like squiggles of writing on the tablet?

That was an awesome module, too.

That golem is too cool, dude. 8)

Llamasu head is pretty cool, too.

Wow. Sounds fun. Maybe more fun for you than for your players, but heck. ;) I'm a fairly new DM running this mod with a party of 4 6th level guys (fighter, druid, mage and scout) and I'm finding that levels 1-3 as written are pretty much too easy for them. Has anyone else found this? Sounds like GB...

We finished up Sunken Zigguret a couple of weeks ago. I procrastinated posting this. We had a TON of FUN!!! One of my players has bagged the talking Llamasu's head. He is convinced it is valuable and kidnapped him. Why did I not see this coming??

This module is on order for me at my LGS. I can't wait. The team has: Duskblade 7th (human) Ninja 6th (halfling) Bard 7th (half-elf) Paladin 4th (Half-Dragon) and a cohort Wizard/Cleric 2/3(Duskblade's) The story of the module will fit right into my campaign (and if it doesn't, I'll customize it). We do have plenty of 'retired' characters. That is, ones that we played for awhile ... then had to really make a new one for any old reason. The older character gets sent back into the general population of NPCs. They might show up as part of the taverns crowd (or the owner), in the court of a local...

This may be asking for the stars after recieving the moon, but: how about some kind of map-overlay type thingy with the DCCs published thus far exposed in the areas the start them? Good point. You do need to spend some time before the game begins to make the spell casters easy to run. I forgot about that. It's still not hard to do. Naw, not hard. Just tedious, at times. I converted 1ED&D magic spells into Palladium at one point (don't ask, I forgotten why. maybe to have e...

Notes? You don't need any stinking notes! You really don't need much in the way of notes. For monster AC, subtract the AD&D AC from 20 and you have the C&C AC. AC 5 in AD&D = AC 15. AC -1 = AC 21. For saves, use any minus as an addition to the difficulty check. The rest of it ya wing! I...

Folks in my game will roll up a new character of the necessary level if needed, i.e. -- they are joining an existing adventure. In all my years of playing D&D (since '81), I can only recall having the players create new characters for a high level module one time. It was early this year and the...

Adventure Module Specialist Characters?

Anyone else ever buy a module just for the art? Like, Temple of the Frog. Then realize afterwards that the level was way over here and the setting was way over there from where your team currently has their characters? I do (and did). Besides the ol' Pit-swallows-the-characters-and-they-land-on-page...

I have the campaign setting and the big, green, 'The Adventure Begins'. They are both worth it. I got the adventure begins almost 6 months ago and we still have unplayed adventures in it. There are 20 in there :D
