I'll be attending gencon. I've been wanting to see this Hammer horror inspired monster ever since your first post. How much will it cost and where can you be found?

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing: Appendix N Adventures

I'm moving in two days. You need my new address. Not quite two months. Don't worry, I am going to contact everyone before the first shipment. :) That is what made me laugh. I gave you a timeline and it was a whole month off. Sorry for all the grief I have given you about delays and missed shi...

Re: Jim Roslof, R.I.P.

Jim did a lot of non-D&D work. I visited his studio with his wife after he passed away. His studio is filled with the advertising work that he did for many years after his time working as an art director at TSR. I'm not as familiar with his work from before his TSR days but it sounds like you h...

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing: Appendix N Adventures

John is not on top of the situation though. Nothing has shipped yet. I've no experience with him or his company apart from this Kickstarter. So far I've been disappointed by the lack of product. I hope he gets on top of things soon. I don't think he's being ill treated when consumers express their ...

I try to have one magic scroll available for purchase if the players have to much loot. I charge an arm and a leg for it and because magic is so hard to find they pay up.

Re: Curious about the DCC RPG crowd...

I started trying to play with older kids in the early 80's. Cousins, neighborhood kids, the sitter's son or pretty much anyone that would let me sit at the table. D&D was such a big deal back then. It seemed like everyone was playing it back then. It didn't happen very often and I never lived lo...

Re: Dwarven Shield Bash + Strength + Deed questions

I went the other way with my group and allowed a MDOA with both weapon and shield. The descriptions of battle were so fluid that pinning someone's foot in place with a spear and then bashing them in the face with a shield to stun them sounded like a natural thing to do. So as long as both attacks hi...

I'm sure you chaps in the US can name actual stores that also do very well with online sales as well. Noble Knight comes to mind, though I think they were fully established as an online seller first before branching out into brick & mortar sales. I love Noble Knight. I would give them an A+ rat...

@ Brave Halfling I was not happy with the sudden extra charge for shipping but paid you $20 extra to get the modules on the original due dates. Now you've changed your mind again & are going to send them out in 3 shipments. Does that mean that I've spent $20 but my modules will ship at the same...

I need to try a spell duel at least once but it looks like a pain on paper. When I first read the rules all I could think about was the game coming to a stop while the wizards duke it out. Is it as bad as it seems or does it flow better in practice?
