Turns out that Amazon does have it for a discount. My regular online dealer was sold out (artsbargains.com) so I had to go get it someplace else. Hmm.... not much of a discount. AMAZON.COM has it for 22% off where as AMAZON.CA has it for 37% I wonder why that is? M exchange rates But... but... that...

I guess I just have a different perspective on all this, and can't wrap my head around the vehemence against a game that no one has seen yet. Disinterest, I could get, but what generally sounds like hatred, I just can't grok. When characters advancing to 20 levels was introduced and weapons got dif...

A few points were mentions... the direction taken with Star Wars was brought up... and I feel I should add a few points to consider. Just because it seems a lot of the long-time players are jumping ship has nothing to do with rigidity and unwillingness to try new things. I, and many others like myse...

Re: New review of DragonMmech

A review of DragonMech was posted by Michael Erb on RPGnet today. Link: http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/13/13435.phtml Yeah. Reviewer had mixed feelings about it. I have it/read it and my biggest beef was more on the art work than anything else. Will be interesting to see what GG does with the g...

I think this is great news! I love the DCC's and I'm really happy to some of them being done in a C&C format.

I've bought all the ones you've done so far and I'm looking forward for more.

Many thanks!

Got my Witch Queen Saga!

Got this 1st Ed DCC beauty in the mail yesterday and, though I've only had a chance to leaf through it, I'm wonderfully impressed and plotting to pitch it against my players. The characters will be slightly higher level when tackling it but they are also a small party so I should be able to adapt it...

Certainly interesting... though I can see that players who are more interested in building ultimate characters and min-maxing may take a shine to 4E if GnomeBoy is correct. However, stat generation may also take a strong departure from your traditional 3D6 too. Otherwise, you end up with some pretty...

Who knows? Maybe in the distant future, there will be special edition releases of 3.x modules the same way there have been a couple 1st ed ones.

;)

Seriously though, despite what WOTC may be saying, in the end converting from 4.x to 3.x may not be so hard. Only time will tell.

As for 4E, I think 3E is going to have the largest percentage of gamers ever to stay with the "old edition", or go to another system. 4E flop? No. I doubt it will be the success 3E was, though. You see... I think that's part of their strategy! Step One: Garner a bunch of new players with ...

There is always one for sale on eBay for $50. The gentleman selling it (a friend of mine) says he does indeed have people buying them for that price. That may be true... but presently $50 is a bit much for me... especially when you consider the additional shipping to Canada. But thanks for the head...

I sadly don't even have one... and since the auction states quite clearly that he'll only ship to a US address, I'm a Canuck out of luck!

At least I have it in PDF...
