Note this is not final.

Re: What are some things we all hate about RPGs?
Long complicated PC generation I also don't like the 'long complicated' part. I also don't want to see a simplistic cut-out character. There should be some depth to PC generation. To add to OURUlz's list: - I don't like "the Christmas Tree effect". This is where characters are loaded down...

Right now, we MAY include some printed maps, instead of map cards. Will a GM be able to create his own maps, adventures, campaign, etc? Or since this is a (hybrid) card game, will he have to purchase a new map card if he wants terrain ( ? ) that is not included in the main box set? Basically I'm as...

Play-testers?
Does Goodman Games have any need of Playtesters for this game? Our group would love to lend a hand.

Dungeoneer characters are just as deep as those in any other RPG -- yet the system is streamlined in a way that minimizes complexity. Will the Dungeoneer RPG have the same stats as the card game (e.g., Combat, Magic, Movement)? If so, will there be additonal stats, or sub-stats (to provide the dept...

Are there any imposed restrictions (e.g., Referee) on what a PC could do with his glory, or do the players restrict themselves based on role-playing circumstance? For example, a monk has taken a vow of poverty. He gains Glory. Could he then spend the glory to purchase fine clothing/jewels to impress...

Re: Dungeoneer Adventures: Designer Diary #5: The Gold Stand
Glory is used by heroes to generate just about every beneficial effect in the game. How would this affect, say, a treasure hoard? For example, a traditional RPG treasure hoard could be a chest with 500 gold, a magic +1 sword (see your other post) and a suit of impervious chain armour. Would all thi...

Re: Dungeoneer Adventures: Designer Diary #4: Beyond Chaotic
Looks great. A few questions: Heroes are good, monsters are evil...Heroes become monsters if they initiate conflict with other heroes. Do you mean 'monsters' in the traditional sense (e.g., green skin, fangs, horns), or can a monster be a cheating, human pirate, for example? When you pick your templ...
