After reviewing the table results, I can see that depending on the d30 result on Table 1-7: Manimal Sub-Type or Table 1-8: Plantient Sub-Type, some zero-level manimals or plantients will end up *also* making a roll on table 1-6: Mutant Appearance, but it's not the norm for them to do so.

The text of the character creation section on page 19 (Genotypes paragraph) implies that all non-PSH zero-level characters roll on Table 1-6: Mutant Appearance, but Table 1-5: Character Genotype only references Table 1-6 for Mutants, not Manimals or Plantients.

Clarification, please?
