Re: The Ruins of Ramat - 0-level funnel

Ok, let's go with
Bump the die size up the chain by one and use each additional person's modifier.
So somebody give me a d24 roll and add each person's modifier. Up to 4 people can push on the 10' wall.

Re: The Ruins of Ramat - 0-level funnel

Or do we get to move up the die chain? OOC: Good question! Indulge me for a moment. Opinions vary on this. Alternatives I have seen include: This is left vague, officially. But the way I remember JG doing this, is we just added our roll totals together. Use this example from Doom of the Savage King...

Re: The Ruins of Ramat - 0-level funnel

OOC: Wait, just to be clear, you are saying that this is a different section of wall than the one we entered through, 20 feet away, right? Yes. A different section of the wall, this time in the corridor. After walking about 15', some of you notice out of the corner of your eyes the same type of scr...

It looks, again, like this 10' section of wall has moved back and forth.

After walking about 15', some of you notice out of the corner of your eyes the same type of scratches around the edges of the wall, floor and ceiling in front of a 10' section of the north (right) wall of the corridor, 20' from where you entered it.

Ok, you move into the revealed corridor toward the door at the far end.

Please give me an INT check for each character as you proceed forward.

Lots of blinking light bulky shapes. On the far wall, exactly opposite the tube that the party entered t...

Telva will remain in the lower room to continue the exploration there. Herbalism isn't the same thing as superstition, but I can imagine a primitive tribe having a lot of superstitions, with much overlap in the realm of 'this aids the body' and 'this does not', etc. Maybe there are 'signs' she can ...

Red Robert notices some scratches around the edges of the wall, floor and ceiling, like the wall has moved back and forth at some point.

He gives it a good push. STR check please.

Ok, as I mentioned, there is a hallway that exits west in the northwest corner.

However, you discover that after 20', the hallway dead ends in a blank wall.

Re: Frozen in Time - As a 0-level funnel

OOC: No worries. So every character that steps into the shaft, rises to stand next to the others.

Is anyone NOT going up?

After about 3 minutes of no one going in, the door to the room at the top has slid shut.

Is anyone going to press the metal square again to open the door and go into the room?

I'm not sure what pit you are talking about, GnomeBoy. There is only the mist room with the bulky blinky things, and the column, and the room at the top of the column with the plants.

Infravision: Halflings dwell in pleasant homes carved from the sod beneath hills. As such, halflings can see in the dark up to 30’. Unlike many other RPGs, DCC RPG doesn't try to 'explain' infravision. Just think of it as magic see-in-the-dark vision. However, since the other members of the party d...
