Re: clericless dcc
Question I have is why run DCC without the option for players to play a cleric? http://bottega.avalonceltic.com/rep_immagini/prod/chierico_2.jpg because there are none in hyboria ;) recently, i decided to treat dcc as not-d&d and more like something that could be used to emulate certain genre f...

Re: clericless dcc
There was a lengthy thread on this topic back in the playtest days, where many argued that the cleric is the "least Appendix N" of the core classes. The nice thing about a cleric-less campaign is that undead become really terrifying. could you find a link for that thread, please? my googl...

Re: songs of mighty deeds
The warriors in our campaign are now eighth level, and I've ruled some pretty powerful effects on MDoA rolls of 10+. A couple weeks ago one of the warriors, Delwyn, had been rolling hot, and with a '10' or '11' I was letting him charge into a horde of grunts and knock down 10 or 20 at a time, and t...

anyone tried to DCCify wfrp old world? there are some obvious similarities (chaos, lethality, magis is unreliable, mutations...) and yet there are differences (grimdarky, gunpowder...).
how would you do it? what about patrons? classes? some changes? some changes to the game world?

i love them. keep them coming.
at my table mighty deeds are less formalized and more dependant on the spur of the moment than on some careful premeditation.

Re: sellswords of punjar
Though it seems like an easy answer because the word "Punjar" is in there, I unfortunately do not see the 4E stuff being the best Punjar can be ...at all. Lots of compromises were made for an inferior game system. Sorry, I wouldn't champion this cause. It can be done so much better. i bel...

folks, tell me of mighty deeds that your warriors (and dwarves) have done (or at least tried). i would love to hear how mighty deeds actually happen in your games. do you play by the book or are your players versatile and creative?

well of worms also used non-DK cover illustration. so, if i already own dd module what would be the biggest draw to buy it again and not just amuse myself by converting. cool magic items? some new spell? something else.

Re: Creeping Beauties of the Woods
It is a month since the death of Prince Hubert Charming. His third bride, the Princess Beauty, didn’t react to his reanimating serum the way his previous brides, Snow and Ella, had done. With inhuman strength, she ripped off his head and carried it into the dark forest of Grimmswood. Since that tim...

Re: Diappointment with DCC Annoucements
Don't worry, there are some big DCC projects in the works. They're just not all announced. The two boxed campaign settings from recent Kickstarters are obviously in the works (Purple Planet and Chained Coffin). Beyond that, make sure you attend our seminar at Gary Con 2015. There's something in pro...

Re: What does Google have that these boards doesn't?
I use both, but the forum end has seriously dropped off. I think there is more of an impression, true or not, that the G+ is more open and liberal with topics and content as long as it has to do with the game. Perhaps not being directly linked to the companies web page is part of that. Also I have ...

but there are two mini-settings for the dcc in the works right now - shudder mountain and the purple planet. i can't wait for all those ks awards to arrive.
i, for one, am super-hyped on journey to the center of aereth and hope that it will also get boxed set treatment.
