Re: DCC adventures beyond the funnel

i've run two plus years kingmaker conversion with dcc rules. if nothing else i feel that dcc is much easier to sustain for a long run than PF.

Hurunh? ...Wouldn't they normally be rolling a d20 for their stealthy stuff? I can't even spot any reference to a d12 in their write-up...

he would give them all thiefy skills instead of only hide/move silently

Hey folks! First thing's first - This game looks awesome. It is awesome. I finished a DCC RPG campaign last winter, I'm running a 5e campaign for two groups, but in the meantime I'm still planning my next DCC RPG campaign. This is something no other game managed to achieve, except Warhammer Fantasy...

Lankhmar patrons

it seems there is a patron book out there. it includes sea king, mog the spider god, sheelba and even the death.

who else should be there? i vote for mighty warcats (obviously) as some sort of collective patron.

it is funny. we played through whole pathfinder kingmaker adventure path (generously spiked with DCC modules) and reached lvl 5/6. it took us about 20 months of weekly play. and we played for 7-8 hours sessions.

Re: Frozen In Time using Pathfinder

PF has completely different encounter logic than DCC. in pf almost everything is solved via tactical combat and escalating number of encounters is necessary for character advancement.

amp up random encounters and buff up already existing ones and give out XPs for just encountering something.

Re: Attention Peril on the Purple Planet Purchasers (boxed s

this is interesting. this means that dcc diaspora is much larger and not at all limited to what we see here or on g+. maybe we should try looking on therpgsite, rpg.net, enworld, dragonsfoot and other rpg sites.
