Yes! Rappan Athuk would rule for DCC! An excellent and nasty mega dungeon!Ravenheart87 wrote:Why is it inappropiate? The Slumbering Tsar Saga seems to be a nice campaign. It would be nice if Frog God Games joined the rank of DCC RPG 3pps. Tome of Horrors Complete and Rappan Athuk for DCC RPG anyone?

Re: Upcoming rulebooks?
More patrons would be nice. I am currently working on patrons from Moorcock's Eternal Champion series starting with Arioch himself. Trying to reread the Corum and Elric series to get ideas. I don't expect goodman to put these out, fan created ones work as well (see also Crawl magazine's patron which...

Trying new things like that is a crap shot that could go either way. I say try it out and let us know how it turns out. Groups vary so much that what is good for one, sucks for the other.

Another excellent thing about this game that should be pointed out is not even in the rulebook. The 3PP participation looks to be putting an excellent game over the top! I have never been so satisfied in an RPG like this one thus far!

I probably don't want them to go under as a company. I know many people would loose jobs and I am sensitive to that, but I wish they would let DnD die it's overdue death since the great Mr Gygax was forced out.

Re: DCC RPG reviewed at Enworld
Partially because they take good elements of their games and ruin them just to make a sell. This has been happening since 2nd Ed but since Hasbro acquired them it got worse. I don't like 3e but it had some good elements to it that Hasbro took and turned my favorite (well first Ed anyway) game into a...

There are sometimes methods to my madness. If you like 4e then more power to you. I hated it and I hate magic cards and such. That's me, I miss the old Gary days ,heck, I miss the 70s and 80s (well early 80s). Now get off my lawn you damn kids!

Re: DCC RPG- having problems getting it to work for me/us.
I am not trying to drive a wedge with players of different editions. 3.5 was a min max nightmare because it allowed way too many options for heroes to be super at certain things. Does that mean 3.5 sucks? No, it means that when I played it I enjoyed it less than 1st ed (which we both agree was our f...
