Re: Frickin' spam

will this ever end????? I clicked on a seemingly innocent WOW! in the art section only to have a graphic porn pic pop up while my wife was looking over my shoulder. I guess I should have known better. However the spammer usually has a run on title like best murk 180 pills booger.

Both very nice entries. I wish I had something to offer but my stick figure women just don't compare.

Thanks for the warning. I hate spammers. They should all be punished with an endless supply of their own spam.

Re: Art from ATOM

Wow there are a bunch of new pictures here. I haven't been in the art section in a while. I really like this last one with the skeleton. The flaming troll looks great too. The captive faerie that is being menaced by goblins is also interesting. Actually the more I look at it the more I like it. I th...

Re: M1: Dragora's Dungeon Errata

Surprisingly my DM said no to my suggestion of the spear house rule. In fact he said no to all house rules and ban them. I guess we are going to play by the book for 4E. I'm surprised because in the past he has always been open to suggestions. I guess I'll have to ditch my clunky spear and bye some ...

Internet Explorer must be the problem then. That is the browser I am using. Is this the browser the rest of you were using who could not see the new cover pics?

PC PEARLS

 This book is so funny. It is worth the price just for the laughs alone. Lord Bedlam Havock has a humorous take on adventuring and a whole list of rules to keep you alive. None of the info is new. However it is nice to have it there to remind you to take your time and do the things that c...

Re: What are the top 10 things you love about 4E?

OK maybe I could change this to just a top 5. 5. Lots of HP and lots of hitting things. 4. Crits are auto max damage. 3. Spell casters having an at will power. So after two rounds of spell casting you don't have to hide in the back and try to shoot a crossbow. 2. Our DM seems less stressed behind th...

Re: Gaming Soundtracks

I like to use over the top dramatic music sometimes. I found a couple of Lost In Space soundtracks from the old tv show at my local library which are great. My kids are young enough that they don't even recognize the title theme song. I had a blast playing this at the beginning of a game session and...

Re: What are the top 10 things you love about 4E?

I like the ways monster design has been changed. I like that less time is spent on book keeping. This was our DM's favorite thing as well. Combats are so much faster now for the DM. In fact I think the players are spending more time deciding which power their character is going to use than the DM s...

What are the top 10 things you love about 4E?

I'm not trying to start a debate about what is better or worse about edition X. I'm genuinely curious. My gaming group has played 4E for a month now and we just had this discussion. For instance one of us said that his number one without a doubt is being able to go through multiple encounters withou...

Re: When's the 3.x/OGL sale?

I would like to see GG support it a little. Maybe they could release a few choice adventures 3.5 like they did for C&C. However I doubt it they have gone 4E. Still never say never right?

Of the ones that I have played or DMed. 10.DCC#4 Bloody Jack's Gold. Who doesn't love finding pirate treasure? This hoard is so large that the players can do what ever they want afterwards. Bye a flying ship so you can launch an attack on the cloud giants floating castle, no problem. 9.DCC#34 Cage o...

Re: What are you playing?

My Saturday group has broken up. A few of us decided to try playing online with the free openRPG program. None of us have tried this before so it should be interesting. We are going back to 3.5 for this one. We are going to play through an adventure called The Grey Citadel. I am going to invite some...

Re: Blackdirge Barnes & Noble Book Signing

I work with a guy who usually attends this con every year. I'll have to ask him again how it is. I think it is more of a gaming con similar to Gencon and not a comic con. We had one of those here this month called Megacon. It was about 90% comics 10% gaming. I hope you guys can make it to Necronomic...

Re: Blackdirge Barnes & Noble Book Signing

That's great. I'm glad to hear that it went well. It has been a few months since I have been to the local B&N so maybe they have straightened up a bit since then. Will GG be in Florida any time soon?
