Converting Dungeon Crawl Classics to Castles & Crusades

The C&C conversions are officially licensed by Troll Lord Games (as in, I bought Steve a beer, got him drunk, and said "Sign here!"). ;) There's a possibility future DCC's will be dual-statted. Joseph, Do you have any interest in rereleasing any of the "older" DCC's as offic...

DCC #12.5 Iron Crypt of the Heretics

Calling Superfan!! NO WORRIES, DUDE. My dungeon tiles aren't too bad, IISSM. As far as still doing them, well, let's talk. Are you going to Gen Con? If so, lets hook up over a cold beer (Harley's buying!) and I'll tell you what I'm looking for. If you're not coming to Gen Con, just say so (here even...

There are just a lot of us out there who enjoy old school D&D every now and then. Gosh, I feel really old! I enjoy old school [A]D&D every time we play, not just every now and then. Some of us have been playing old school [A]D&D for 25 years or more and actually prefer it to new school ...

Harley, I have a couple of years worth of the old RPGA magazine Polyhedron in one of my storage tubs. I completed an inventory of my D&D adventure modules recently so I'm pretty sure I remember the location of the magazines. I don't remember what the range of issue #'s is, but I'll look them ove...

Dread Crypt at Gen Con?

Well, I've got a pretty tight schedule for Friday, and Saturday afternoon through evening is also full. But if you were to run a Saturday morning game, I'd be "in"for a few hours of fun. And I would literally jump at the chance to game with Harley! IIRC, we're signed up for a short seminar...

DCC #12.5 Iron Crypt of the Heretics

Hello Harley, Yeah, the conversion notes and PC conversion took some time. But it was great fun, so it was worth the effort! I'll probably run my home gaming group through Iron Crypts (as a one-shot) at some point this year, so I'll get some more miles out of the conversion notes. GenCon - Here's ho...

Report from GorillaCon3

Harley,

I've got a few questions. Please see above posts or check your email. Not terribly urgent - I don't need answers for GorillaCon this weekend, but some questions to think about.

thanks,

Harley, I came across an earlier thread on DCC #12.5 today. In that thread, you wrote: Taco! Thanks for the kind thoughts. It was a fun module to write; we had to cut some rooms to make the word count, but I think the adventure is better for it. How many rooms did you have to cut to make the word co...

Harley - Hey, no sweat. I thought it must be something like that. Thanks for the quick reply. That I remembered at all gives you some sense of how many times I've read over th...

Well, that list of stuff is the goal anyway. Have to see whether time allows for being that thorough or not. I ran a short tournament dungeon this winter as a one-off for my group, and it had a player handout + PC sheets already done. It made running the one-shot real easy. IIRC, the bard in 1E star...
