Re: Sour Spring Hollow

Remember that the goal is to create additional PCs to join the main group. I know... sigh. Well, she has to survive to meet Bron and Arvandra, so we'll see! Daggers are fine, but you were just at a wedding, so pitchforks, clubs, and grappling hooks stayed at home. But... is the goat okay? When the ...

Re: Sour Spring Hollow

Did some quick research to find the generator, and it's not listed in PS as shudder mountains... I... would definitely want to have Bron and Arvandra show up, but as the generator comes in 4s, we'll see who lives long enough to join them! I've named them (gasp!) and I've decided I love Adastra! She ...

Re: Would love to join a game

Guang: If it helps, I've just checked back in (thought the game had died, and I'm working on my own games and projects), and I'm very happy to potentially find fellows to join our party. Bron has posted his response in the thread... How much in-game time can we say passed? If it was six weeks, Arvan...

Re: The People of the Pit

OOC: I didn't think this was still going. I've been busy the last four weeks getting my DCC rpg module (Wrath of the Frost Queen) . If this is still going, I'm finished. If this game is going to re-group, I'd be happy to join! I just saw a Facebook post about the hypercube of Myt. If it doesn't... G...

My first-ever product just went live! http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/143780/Wrath-of-the-Frost-Queen It's a 5th level game, from Fireinthedust Productions. Lots of fun to make, and I've got a new respect for industry veterans. Purchased. Don't forget to read the dedications on the title page...

Re: The People of the Pit

We immediately head back to town, rest at the cottage if needed, and then Bron goes to the tavern and finds out who in town would be up for adventuring.

Re: Creeping Beauties of the Woods

Can we all head to the cellar? If so, the elf and company go there and look things over. I wonder if this is the only secret door. Odd that the dagger is rusted. I wonder if it was somehow submerged, or if it's just old. Burok asks to take a look at the dagger. As both a blacksmith and a dwarf, he h...

Re: The People of the Pit

Bron and Arvandra gasp as the others fade away. Blast! What sorcery is this? Not sorcery, warrior. Piety. That was clearly the will of his patron, Choranus. (sigh) Then it is up to us to plumb these depths, without the guide of their foreknowledge or the healing powers. Well... Fine. Fine. Can Lady ...

Re: Creeping Beauties of the Woods

Elroth and company make their way into the common room with the others. Xim grunts and stumbles over to the bar (predictably). Anyone found some ale? Maybe they left a barrel behind when they closed the place. Elroth We checked out the stables. No sign of recent use, though some ruined horse tack. A...

Re: The People of the Pit

OOC: glad to have you back!

IC:

Bron is all business, standing guard over the cleric as prayers are said, in case any foe should appear while the priest is distracted.

Arvandra is still helping Lady Aelfwyn, and they shuffle into the room behind the others.

Re: The People of the Pit

OOC: I'm here. I've been really slow myself, recently (as you've no doubt noticed from time to time). From what little I know of Raven, my (uneducated) guess would be that it's a legitimate delay. I myself have been crippled by some alien plague (much like the Tick), an ailment I can only describe a...

Re: Creeping Beauties of the Woods

Elroth sniffs the air, as do Graham and Borok. The dwarf's face wrinkles at the smell of Xim, who throws up his hands to ward off the assumed insult, says "What! Gee..." then sniffs himself, makes a face, and shrugs apologetically. Elf and Huntsman, however, both catch the fishy scent. Fis...

Re: The People of the Pit

Bron is likewise keeping a cautious eye out while the others look for traps, as is Arvandra (while she holds onto poor Lady Aelfwyn). Bron, however, is keeping himself ready in case something jumps at the others while they actively search. If he spots something from a slight distance, he'll make sug...

Bron likewise expects the body to burst open, so he's got his left arm over his mouth and nose.

Re: Creeping Beauties of the Woods

Moving on from the hoof-prints, Elroth, Graham, Xim, and Borok make their way to the house, weapons drawn.

Elroth and Graham, having bows, will stand well back while the others move in to explore the structure.

OOC: do the vines look like the ones that went after Xim previously?
