Re: Classic Modules
One nice thing is that 0-level demi-humans will have a racial trait. That being noted, it's super easy to create a new classes for DCC. This is why I still couldn't decide, whether I should use the game as it is for a Hyboria-like sword & sorcery setting, or convert my Wilderlandsesque sandbox ...

Re: Classic Modules
I know this because I have been trying them since I switched from Swords & Wizardry to DCC RPG last year. Now that you mention it... In my S&W Complete Wilderlands campaign, we don't use race-as-class (just as OD&D didn't use it until Holmes Basic D&D). A lot of people asked it mont...

Is it possible to pre-order this baby internationally? Even with some higher shipping costs? Why, yes! The option is already available. Very cool. Re: A few questions
Probably a daft question but... What happens when you finish an adventure, one with 0 level characters, and there are still two or three characters left per player? Do they go on another one until each player is left with just the one character? I say it's up to the referee and his campaign. Someon...

Re: paper quality
With the quality of the printing and binding, the page count, the amount of art, the mechanics and the whole tone of the game, I'm even more convinced this will be an instant rpg classic (just as the name suggests). Classic artwork, classic printing and binding, classic game mechanics, classic role...

If it's going to be like the Dungeon Alphabet, then I won't complain, it has quite sturdy and thick paper.

The secret message is actually a charm spell, that makes you pre-order another book and every module on the list. Well played, Joseph... At least it's not explosive runes.

Re: How about a PDF preview of at least one spell?
I'm going back and forth on whether I should pre-order DCC, or wait to see the game on a store's shelves. To help me (and perhaps others) decide, would it be possible (before March 31st) to see at least one spell in its most recent form? I understand all the beta's "As above" results have...

I listen to the following bands, for inspiration: Bal-Sagoth (symphonic black metal with lots of narrating and howardian/lovecraftian lyrics) Slough Feg (early albums, which had covers made by Erol Otus himself) The Sword (lots of howardian themes here) Bathory (later, viking albums, like Blood Fire...

Re: My Druid Class (speculative hack)
I think neutral priests of some nature god are more than enough for druids and shamans. I'm sure they are going to get a spell in the final version, that can summon servants (including animals), their turning ability can be used against unnatural things (or holding fey and animals at bay), and their...

Re: DCC preorder : international shipping ?
And finally I pre-ordered it. $44 with shipping for it is really a good deal. One of my friends also pre-ordered, and it seems to me that a small DCC RPG fanbase is beginning to appear in Hungary. I'm going to run demos wherever and whenever I can, after I got the book.
