No worries, we're just ribbing. The tournament is and will remain impartial. I'm hoping for some intense competition and close rounds this year. Last year only 50 points divided round 2's SECOND place team and the team that didn't advance, who were only 30 points behind round 2's THIRD place team. I...

Um...wow. Seriously. Damn.

This is unbelieveably cool. I hope you keep some time in your schedule post-August for Castle Whiterock...I'd love to see what you do with several areas of that.

Keep 'em coming!

Yeah, I thought there were a few plot holes in the Future episode...I was initially really confused about the role of Future Bennet, too...Bennet states at one point that he hid Mikah and DL, but later on President Sylar uses DL's powers...I guess, since he's President, he knew where Bennet hid DL t...

Heroes TV Show: "Bomb" Poll

So my buddies and I have got a little pool amongst ourselves about the resolution of this "bomb" issue in the Heroes TV show.

How do you think it will end? Cast your votes now!

Me, I say it's Ted. Least air time + dead wife + death wish = our bomb!

Episode #20: Ruled. I love Future Parkman. "Days of Futures Past." 'Nuff said. Episdoe #21: Wow. As much as the previous episodes kicked arse, this one blew. I realize every episode can't be a home-run, and I know it's a marathon and not a footrace, and I will will one for the Gipper, but ...

fathead has a pretty good strategy he's shared for getting two tix at a time. The DCC Open Tournament always sells pretty fast, though. Last I heard, six and a half hours had gone by and we only had 2 tickets left.

So many PCs, just hastening to their doom (insert evil laugh here)...

Question, I see there are 6 slots at noon on Thursday, does all your group have to get in the same one or if all of your members get in a noon spot, you can make your team from there? You should try to all get in the same slot. Having people jump from one group to another will only delay the start ...

Yes, after many back-room dealings involving an un-marked crate, some dental record identification, and the gross national product of a small European state, BOTH tournaments are finally in the event catalog. Thanks to Joseph and Derek for the assist, and good luck to everyone pre-registering...hope...

I'll answer your questions in reverse order. Re. Substitutions - No substitutions are allowed. We revisited this policy after last year's tournament and decided not to change it. If a player is more than 10 minutes late arriving after the start of his or her round, that character is considered to ha...

Aside from playtests for forthcoming modules X and Y, that Mutants & Masterminds game we rolled up characters for a while back turned into a Heroes system game, so I'm playing that.
Man is THAT a change of gears from 3.5 - I keep expecting attacks of opportunity! - but it's a fun game.

PS--Isn't one of these adventures set in an insane asylum, or am I thinking of something else? You are correct, sir...you speak of DCC #34: Cage of Delirium , as seen here http://www.goodman-games.com/5033preview.php It also comes with a fine CD of music written and performed by Midnight Syndicate ...

You don't need kids to have an excuse to get a Cthulhu plush toy...no kids for me, but I have one of the smaller Cthulhus that mounts my Xmas tree each year as the "angel" on top.

All praise to Superfan for working on those maps. My buddy who led the Tuscon playtests for Palace got copies of the Superfan maps and now they decorate the walls of his gaming room. They are amazing just on their own, but if you look at them all together like that, well, it blew me away. The author...
