I have an additional prediction.

Sylar won't be killed. He'll steal the powers of the girl who can manipulate what a person sees, and Hiro will mistakenly kill someone else.

That's almost an apologist answer, though. I consider it a plot hole. Yeah...I think there may be a few plot holes (I have a list of them)...but let's face it - if I were looking for realism, I wouldn't be watching a show about superheroes. Plot holes or not, my wife and I sit down diligently every...

This brings up another odd question - why doesn't guilt-ridden Peter Petrelli go back in time and stop the events that led to his nuclear event?

Hiro must be only one with a good work ethic... ;)

Yep...I voted the obvious - Peter Petrelli. In the future, he admitted to being the one who went nuclear. Hiro will kill Sylar after the election day, as predicted. They won't save New York City...the first time. I think they'll have a series of "back and forth" in an attempt to stop the b...

I've got a team of four that really wants to play together. I've got two for RPG01797 and two for RPG01779. I'm really looking for two tickets in RPG01779, but I'll trade you my RPG01797 tickets for your RPG01772 tickets. At least you guys would all be able to be together then, and as it turns out ...

Fathead's Wednesday Dungeon Crawl

Alright! I have a tentative description. The guys hosting the gaming at the RAM asked me to provide one, as they'll be posting the events on the GenCon forums. I believe the time will be 1-5. I'll post links to other information as I make them (maps, characters, some history, etc). Anyway, here it i...

Here is another suggestion - Get two attendees under 1 account. Not everyone may want to do this, but it really helps when registering for events. My wife and I are on one account (surprise surprise). Since both of us can register for 2 tickets each, I just purchase the team slot for all 4 members, ...

I have to admit, Vault of the Dragon Kings would be cool. The beginning part of the module (having to climb the frozen cliffs) would be stunning (particularly if you had PCs in it for scale perspective).

Wednesday Dungeon Crawl

Alright! I've decided to run a dungeon crawl on Wednesday. So, for all of those who have expressed interest (in a PM or otherwise), let me know what time would be best. Wednesday gaming at the RAM is open from 9am-5pm. I'll post the details of my dungeon crawl in a couple weeks (once I start putting...

Thanks for the quick reply Adrian! I'm making my schedule right now, so it's nice to have the info. I'll probably skip out on the XCrawl tournament, because I don't want to leave a group without a player. Any XCrawl judges willing to run a game (outside of the tournament) in exchange for free beer? ...

A couple GenCon tournament questions

A scheduling question: Advancement Rounds - There are several advancements rounds. Is there a way that you determine which team advances to which time slot? Substitution question: What are the substitution policies? I'm only asking because I might try XCrawl without my group, and I don't want to lea...

Re: What PCs would you like to see?

But then you lose access to 3rd level spells. Keep it Sorcerer 6/Rogue 1, definitely. Gotta ask what 1- 3rd level spells do you just have to have? and I f you have to have third level spells then a sorc 7 is preferable. weigh 1 spell, +1 WP save vs Evasion --- and double the skill points...and on a...

Regarding the obstacle courses...these are something that the whole group must navigate (and not just one character)? I'm guessing that is where XCrawl feats will help out - giving benefits to the rest of the group? I guess I'll find some of this out when I pick up one of the XCrawl books though... ...

ynnen, I like the selection. It gives a good mix of classes to choose from. Although, our group would probably toss the monk right away without agonizing over it (unless he had a great selection of skills that we couldn't pass up). I like the fact that you gave the rogue some fighting ability. One o...

Re: What PCs would you like to see?

Arcane Damage: Human Sorcerer 6/Rogue 1 (front end, touch attack damage, possible sneak attack on rays) The above guy is your Trapfinder/Blaster, you could even go 5Sorc/2Rog If you are worried about Skillpoints. But then you lose access to 3rd level spells. Keep it Sorcerer 6/Rogue 1, definitely.
