Yeah, I'd like some spell options, but I also like the challenge of making due with what you're given and surviving, which has been the basis for the DCC and I think that should never change.

Yeah, I think he was trying to fall back to the mud when we took him out; luckily for us the combat started on the non-mud side, so he had a ways to go.

Did your group enter the blighted area? Did anything happen when you entered it? We were afraid to even go in it, since it seemed the will o' wisp was trying to lure us there... Well there was some nasty "mud" over there that would have been very bad to step in, but luckily we noticed it ...

I am a software developer and not sure how many out there use a laptop as part of DMing, but I like it's help sometimes (also makes a good DM screen at times )

Yeah, if they did change this, I would hope they wouldn't allow more than 1 though, because technically you're allowing people into round 2 who didn't qualify for round 2, but at the same point other events and personal reasons come up that make you a player short and it would be nice to have a way ...

I personally kind of like the keeping the team together; kind of rewards the teams that keeps their group for all 3 rounds.

Probably one of the most memorable moments from my group "Glen Eagles" was the encounter with the spider and the cave crickets. We had almost skipped the room althogether and with the "elevator" room reading trap to most of us, we decided to go back and check out some other rooms...
