Re: So DCC 83 has.. a Kickstarter!
I can't really get excited about gimmicky contraption like the wheel until I see it with my own eyes but mention of Manly Wade Wellman has my attention. Are you also familiar with David Drakes Old Nathan and are the Bigginty's reference to Henry Kuttners Hogben family?

This module arrived to my door today and I have not even read it through with thought but I'm impressed.

Thanks for sharing this, it's got same weird hippie vibe that David Trampier, Erol Otus and Tom Wham have in some of their works.

Where are you using this gorgeous Russ Nicholson art?
I came upon the artists blog post and scrolled down to see the last picture and there was absolutely smashing and insane combat scene.
What are you using it for?

Re: free DCC RPG poster!
Thanks for the cool poster, I have to show off with this on next weekend game. I hope it will let my group grok adventures in ancient times better, times when men had tight pants and handlebar moustaches and prog rock was the thing.

Re: Art Preview: Jim Holloway
I have to say I especially love Jim Holloways talent for illustrating things going wrong, it sort of fits the chaos and fumbling of adventuring better than cool looking people making cool metal album cover style poses.

There is one thing that is not clear to me reading from the rules, are you supposed to burn the luck before the roll or after it? :? Spellburn is used before the dice roll...but Luck can be burned before OR after. Thanks, I have been setting up a game and this is so far one crusial question I neede...

Re: Dice: generating "Zocchi results" using "normal" polyhed
I just wanted to say that suggestions in this thread will come really handy when playing with the Beta rules, I especially like the simple conversion of normal casino d6 to d2 and d3.
