My plans also. Just judging by the cover and description this sounds like a perfect place for an old school style of game.

I've got the entire group ready and raring to go for some excellent d20 gaming ahead. I'll be using DCC #35 with only the three core books and perhaps some material from Unearthed Arcana. No slew of feats, no 101 prestige classes just oob D&D (and maybe a psionicist:) ). Later, Greg V. Right no...

Well, we actually took a different (and what I hope to be refreshing) approach to deities, though certainly not in any heavyhanded way that can't be changed by the GM. Basically, the gods are the gods of concepts, ideologies, things, places. They're not the gods of races. For example, Ireth, the St...

a great deal will depend on what everyone thinks of #35. If it's well received, send your ideas Joseph's and Harley's way. Can I say it's well received even before it comes out, let alone arrives in my grubby paws?!? I agree, there is a lot of talk about DCC 35, at least on the boards I visit, ther...

Normally I just sit and think until something that relates well to the character pops into my head. I try to stay away from anything corny or humerous.

I'm hoping DCC fits the hits the spot for me, right now I really don't have a favorite, I find enough about most published settings to decide not to use them. Mystara/Known World would be the closest I've come to really embracing, I liked the 2E box sets, but overall it has the feel of a lot of good...

Right now I'm playing in a homebrewed C&C campaign, while working on my own setting( actually I'm just trying to find a nice map where I can place all the modules I want to run.

Now that I heard of DCC world, I want to get my hands on it and see how adaptable it is to my ideas.

Re: More Castles and Crusades Please

Hi, I absolutely love the fact you guys re-did The Mysterious Tower to C&C. (All but one of my PCs fell victim to the acid trap.) I know you have another original module coming out for it, but I love Dungeon Crawl Classics, and if it is in any way possible, I would love to see more of the DCCs ...

I've been thinking of something like that. There are a lot of monsters now in all the DCC's. It'll probably happen sooner or later. Any word on this, I'm new to the forums/DCC but found some really good monsters in the few DCCs that I have. A monster book with both D&D and C&C stats would b...

Hey yell0w_lantern, Welcome on board the Goodman Games forums. Your request may have already been fulfilled in Dungeon Crawl Classics #20: Shadows in Freeport. Since you asked, I'm always interested in the basics: orcs, goblinoids, giants, etc. Of course, I'm a sucker for these silly things and hav...

Not exactly old-school, but it was one of the first good modules I ever played.
I remember that one, never had the chance to either run or play it, but it did make for some good reading.

Chris posted a great C&C conversion guide here: http://www.goodmangames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=785 We're working on incorporating an appendix of C&C rules in future DCC's. Look for details after Gen Con... Good to hear, I have several DCCs and plan on using them in my next C&C campa...

Well that kind of stuff should be relatively easy to convert. :) I was worried about a plethora of new feats, prestige classes, and other (useless IMO) 'crunch'. One very savvy team member made it explicitly clear that prestige classes had no place in the boxed set. (I think that, done well, a pres...

Question: How much 'game-specific' 3e material will be in the Gazetteer? I understand that the adventures, of course, will have the necessary 3e statblocks, but beyond that, how much of the books will devoted to 3e rules material? The Player's book is entirely setting --- you could pick it up and u...
