Hi everybody, dear gamers,
I wonder if a 1st level wizard can choose higher level spells than the ones he normally masters. Should it be based on the table of characteristics (intelligence) or that of the wizard class (levels) to determine the spells accessible from the first level ?

In the case of a God being also a Patron...
Salutations to all, When a God is also a Patron, the patron spells are they also accessible to the cleric or only to the wizards / elves ? How do you manage about creating canticles in addition to those powers associated with Patrons abilities ? I will be happy to have your opinions on this point ! ...

Re: find and remove traps
Thank you for these wise tips. I sometimes have difficulties to get rid of my old AD&D reflexes... but I greatly appreciate the DCC mechanisms !

find and remove traps
I still have another question to clarify ! For characters who do not have a former thief / rogue type profession, and are not a thief / hobbit class, what type of dice do they roll to find / remove traps or secret doors ? 1d10 ?
Thks again !

PCs alignement & Patrons
Do the characters that are linked to Patrons have to be of the same alignment as these ? Moorcock’s narratives mention pacts with various creatures of sometimes contrary alignments but what about in DCC ? On the other hand, can a sorcerer bind another sorcerer to a Patron ? Thanks for your answer(s) !

So...
In the case of a deity being both a patron and a god, the cleric who benefits from the patron spells can thus lose his spells just like a wizard ?

clerics and patrons & clerics and gods
Hi,
I'm just want to know how to do with "patron" spells when it's not a patron but a god. How create "gods spells" and is there the same process with failures ("gods taint") ??
Sorry for my english...

Hello Judges !
I will soon make a scenario mixing characters of level 0 and 1. Have you ever done that ? Perhaps you would have some advices ?

Re: Patron taint and / or god taint
Thanks for your answer. If I understand correctly the gods who are also patrons are therefore less powerful than the others since they agree to bargain with humans ?

Patron taint and / or god taint
I'm working about gods again and I want to know how you do when you create a god with the patron taint rules. It's quite obvious these rules work for the wizards but do you applie them in the same way for the clerics ?
Thanks for your advices !
