I've been able to find the link to the forums, its just not the way I was used to finding it. On the "social media" part of the page on the right hand side, there's a link to the forum, it uses the goodman games dinosaur.

Application of strength, for me, should be cumulative, instead of supplemental. If you have two people who can each lift 150 lbs, then they can lift about 300 lbs together, it wouldnt make sense to only let them lift 200 or 250. So for example, if there's a heavy boulder that you would say only some...

I noticed the forums aren't linked on the Goodman Games website any more, at least, I can't find the link, so I've been coming here based on bookmarks, but there's been nothing new for a while, is the plan to let these forums die off?

In the spirit of the hobby, I would suggest reading any old book and taking characters and making them patrons, come up with new spells/boons/benefits and roll with it. It helps to look at existing patrons people have made to get an idea about how to do it yourself, break down the process, etc.

I also allow them to permanantly burn a point of luck for a bigger luck bonus than they would get for burning luck temporarily. Good idea, thank you. And what kind of bonuses do you allow them ?
