Acquiring New Skills
How have you all handled the acquisition of skills in DCC? I was thinking that a player could in-game pay for training in a particular skill and thus be trained in it. For example, if a player wanted to be trained in mounted combat he could pay the services of a trainer in-game and thereafter be con...

Clerical Healing Failure
When a cleric rolls a failure on his lay on hands check, does he immediately get to retry healing the same wound? Or does the cleric need to wait to try and heal another wound? Can't seem to find this in the book.

Luck Allocation in Game
Sorry if this has already been asked/answered, but what does luck allocation look like in the game narrative? For example, when a halfling grants luck points to another character, do any of you have a way in which you narrate that or is it simply treated as a meta-game action? Love this game...!

Re: Diappointment with DCC Annoucements
So, it's either "do it yourself" or "wait another year before we possibly announce a product"? Oh well, the game still rocks. I used to love make my own settings, but I no longer have a lot of time to give. Besides, I love reading campaign worlds.

Diappointment with DCC Annoucements
I am a huge fan of DCC RPG, and I found myself disappointed with the GenCon announcements by Goodman Games. I wanted to hear something more substantial concerning the DCC "Annual" and possibly some campaign setting support. The stuff Goodman Games has in store for the near future concernin...

DCC Annual...?
I am confused about what the Annual is actually going to be. Will it have new spells? New Monsters? What is its purpose? Definitely looking forward to new DCC content.

Re: What DCC Needs Is.....
I too ordered Critters Creatures & Denizens. It is a quality piece of work and I highly recommend it. The creatures therein have a lot of detail, and you can use as much of the detail as you wish. Pick it up and you will instantly have 200-ish more monsters at your beck and call. Nice work, J. A...

What Campagin Settings Do You Use for DCC?
I am curious how many people out there use an established setting for their campaigns and how many use their own home brew? Anyone using Greyhawk, FR, Known Realms, etc?

Anyone want to Join a DCC game in Inland Empire of CA?
I have been asking to join a game for a long time and no one has responded, so I will take a different approach. I am willing to Judge if there are any players in So CA who want to play. I am not an experienced Judge, but I am willing to give it a shot. Any takers?

Can monsters fumble? I know they can crit...they have their own crit tables. But there are no fumble tables for them. Do they fumble just like a character with no armor?

Re: 3rd printing of DCC RPG core book
Got my Slipcover edition the other day. It looks awesome. Each page is printed in dark ink; there are no pale ink pages at all. Also, the binding is smythe-sewn and appears to be a bit tighter than in the 2nd printing book I have. The art booklet is incredible as well. Well worth the price.

Effects of Stun?
While Judging recently, in one module I ran into a situation where the PC was to be "stunned for one round." I tried to find the effects of a stun in the core book, but could not find anything specific. I also ran into crit results that say a character is "stunned for 1d3 rounds,"...
