Re: Campaign Setting - Divine Right's Mineria
So ... if I have the 1E Divine Right board game and a full run of the Dragon magazine articles, is there much that I'm missing in the 25th Anniversary edition? I hate to spend so much money on something only to find out that it's essentially what I already own. You have a have a full run of Dragon ...

Re: Campaign Setting - Divine Right's Mineria
I broke down and bought the 25th anniversary addition which has the CD of the Minerian Legends. For those who don't know, the Legends were a long running series of articles run in Dragon magazine between 1980 and 1982 that detailed the Divine Right board game world as an RPG setting. Like the map, t...

Re: Tower of the Black Pearl...reprint?
I too, would love to get my hands on these adventures. I am striving to collect the entire line because I find the DCC adventure not only to be extremely entertaining, but they are among the most immediately useful gaming products I have ever encountered. Book, boxed set, trapper keeper, Count me in!

Re: Campaign Setting - Divine Right's Mineria
Hi, I'm new to these boards but I have a question about Divine Right for DCC. I am planning on a new DCC campaign starting in March and I want to use Mineria as the setting. Like jonchappellnow2 said, I just think the original map is the greatest fantasy rpg map ever made. I also think it is perfect...

Re: Chapter 13 Press Presents: Tales of the Fallen Empire
Great!! thanks for the update and the promise to continue them in the weeks to come. I understand that your first priority is the kickstarter contributors. My players and I are looking forward to the final product. The character sheet looks sharp.

Re: Chapter 13 Press Presents: Tales of the Fallen Empire
I have had my eye this for quite a long time now, and will purchase it as soon as it is available. DCC has been the remedy for most of my RPG mechanics nightmares, but I often prefer Swords and Sorcery to more Tolkien-esk or "generic" fantasy styles and I think Tales would be a perfect fit...

Re: Why Levels?
Interesting thread. For me it is kind of a wash. Levels are fun and that's probably the best reason to keep coming back to them. My biggest problem for levels is that some players feel pigeon-holed into a trope or archetype (elf-ninjas aside) and if they want to take their character in an original d...

How about a DCC hex crawl
(I) burned out on 3e and all its variants and have been hanging out in the OSR. To make a long story short, DCC has become the game of choice. Embracing the good qualities of 3e (and throwing out the garbage) in a mechanically simple old school format, with some new ideas, was brilliant. In my well-...
