The same die(-type) applies to all attacks. Don't go stepping down the Dice Chain or anything like that... Use the Exact Same Die™ when rolling each attack...

Re: PDF of OARs

This comes up fairly regularly.

The license with WotC does not allow any electronic versions.

My guess is that they want you to buy the classic PDFs from them, and use those.

Re: Two weapon fighting backstab

IMO, the Backstab is a single attack. Thieves eventually get two Action Dice, but the way the Backstab ability is phrased, it sounds like there's only one attack at a time that's a Backstab. With dual weapon fighting, I'd ask the player to declare which die or which roll includes the Backstab bonus ...

Re: Dwarf Shield Bash and Attack Die

It seems to me that if the game was purposely designed to only allow one Deed per round, regardless of however many attacks a Dwarf or Warrior could deal in a round, the rules would specifically say "You get one Deed per round, period." This I cannot find in the book. They do say "before any attack"...

Re: 5E Adventures

The Fifth Edition Fantasy line is in support of 5th Edition D&D.

DCC RPG is it's own game, not part of any edition of D&D.

You could adapt adventures from one system to the other, and many folks do exactly that, but they are not identical in their mechanics.

Re: Shield Fumble Die

Another interpretation is that using a shield (alone) means you have a d8 Fumble Die. As spelled out on page 79, carrying a shield as your only armor is considered "light" armor, and uses the same fumble die as other light armor types. If you're wearing whatever kind of armor with a shield, you use ...

I've always taken the idea of feminism being that women should be treated equally. Anyone can subscribe to that notion, so anyone can be feminist. But then, my understanding of the term stems from the 70s and 80s, and I have seen terms shift in their meaning without me noticing. So I may still be th...

Re: Question about the Road Crew Swag for DDC Days Online

Promoting your event is a crucial step to qualifying for swag, and the events page is the primary way to do that... but having them in the TTE page for DCCDO is probably sufficient, as that was a pretty big promotion overall. Contacting the company directly is probably the best way to find out: info...

1. How the heck do I make the yetis easily distinguishable for my characters? I figure 2-5 need real personalities + names. Names for everybody, though? T-shirts with numbers on them??? So, maybe 2 or 3 are "important" in some way that is needed to drive what you're doing. Give them names, and a li...

If I can't get a PDF this way then I will be force to purchase future DCC mods from the website thus sending the FLGS to ruin. I think the main intent is to cover new purchases of older material that was printed before the code-system came along! As a GG Con rep, it comes up since the code-system started... "If I buy this one, it comes with a PDF, but if I buy this one, it doesn't come with a PDF???" So covering a purchase ...
