Re: The pre-order shipments have left the printer!
So... with DCC now available in stores, how long should I wait before I contact customer service about my pre-order copy not being delivered?

Re: Recovering the dead.
My PC's don't roll to see if they've recovered. They barter with death. Luckily he's a compulsive gambler. ^-^ My favorite story is when one of my players who was all about keeping the party together and happy, jumped in front of a troll for the party's mage saving his life. He bet death in a rock, ...

Re: A few questions
Generally I like to make sure everyone has roughly the same number of characters in play. So I let them pick the one they want to play and bank the rest. If we're playing with henchmen, I'd allow them to bring in those banked characters if they wish. It's rare for me to allow more than one character...

Re: Modules: Hardy copy + PDF bundle?
Would making an app for a reader with the option of buying modules work? That's actually quite a bit of work. Almost every device can open PDFs, and you won't have to reformat the content for each different resolution and the PDF readers already take care of a good bit of that. The modules should b...

Re: What adventures will be available when core book release
This is awesome, though some small part of me is sad at how huge the base game book is. Sounds like a heavy book to carry around, especially if you aren't a spellcaster. I myself am torn on if I'm excited to have this massive tome to show off, or if I would have preferred having the spells split of...

Re: What adventures will be available when core book release
Don't worry too much about the timing though - the core book has a lot of material to read - you won't be playing adventures the very next day after you get it! Don't forget about the PDF of the core book being sent out before the actual book arrives. I had planned on having it read many times over...

Re: Would you buy a full DCC themed 14-dice set? (Unofficial
So, looking for the silver lining here, with the delay of the release perhaps a dice set might be more likely? ^-^ I'm not sure how many more votes we're going to manage. It looks like we have most of the DCC forum regulars. I guess the question is how biased is our sample compared to GG's target ma...

Re: Pre-order shipping charges?
Another option I've seen is a "ship together" or "ship when available" option at check out. Depending on how your inventory system works, orders that are made with the "ship together" option are removed from available inventory, but the order isn't sent to the warehouse...

Re: Would you buy a full DCC themed 14-dice set? (Unofficial
regarding dice color: sure, everyone likes matching colors. But when it came to buying d3,d5, d16,d24,d30... I bought them all in different colors, and different size from my 7-dice sets. That way I can tell in a sec that the d3 is the "red one w/white numbers", and i won't just pick one ...

Re: Would you buy a full DCC themed 14-dice set? (Unofficial
why not just selling "the odd dice", as a set? I guess most people have a 7-dice set already. The idea is to have a full 14-dice matching set. If you only produce the 7 odd dice in one colour, then the chances of you having the matching dice are slim, so most people would have to buy the ...

Re: Would you buy a full DCC themed 14-dice set? (Unofficial
Geoffrey - GameScience's precision dice are about $2 a piece unmarked. They're a little under $3 each marked. So I'm not sure that an inked precision set of 14 dice for < $30 is possible. Also of note, I don't have the option of a "high impact" irregular dice set (d3, d5, d7) because I bel...

Re: Would you buy a full DCC themed 14-dice set? (Unofficial
I was unaware that anyone other than GameScience made "precision" sets of dice. To be clear, I'm calling the precision sets the ones with sharp edges that usually have an option to come uninked. The option I have for ~$25 would be dice sets you would expect from a company like koplow or ch...

Re: Full dice sets?
Well most of the complaints I've heard is getting a d7 and d30 that match the color scheme. One of my players also suggested a full set that used renumbered d6, d8, d10, and d14 for the irregular dice that are difficult to "roll" (maybe inked in a different color to easily spot the differe...

Would you buy a full DCC themed 14-dice set? (Unofficial)
Edit: I've added a poll at finarvyn suggestion. Please choose what option you'd be most interested in. These hypothetical sets would include a set of all 14 dice needed for DCC to include a matching d7 and d30. Prices are unofficial estimates chosen by taking the current price per die for a set of d...
