Hi just an update more than anything. If you go to the Etherscope Yahoo group the Etherscope conversion system is available allowing the game to be played using the Storytelling system. All the rules reference the books you will need to run the game in addition to owning the Etherscope core book. Of...

Don't get bogged down in the rules.... make it flow, focus on the drama, make it cinematic... not a dugeon crawl.

There is no GM-Screen yet but I'm sure the D20 modern one is the best to use.

Have fun fellow Scope rider

But I loved the book Ben - its such a different spin on Victoriana icon_biggrin.gif *hugs Lady of Highgate* All we need to do now is infect more of the SnE'ers and we might have a growing scope movement. Glad you like it... For me thats ace cos it just shows how good a job Ben and Nigel did to make...

Well I up for the challenge... I'll have a think for sunday.... I think the new Story Telling system may have a means to enable many of the fighting styles and feats and talents to be accounted for in the new Merit system........

It should be quite a blast to try out in either set.....

For example, at one point, a pistol is mentioned as having a laser sight. That's fairly developed electronics and minitureization. Ok its chemist to the rescue time..... Yes in principle lasers work by using a special ruby crystal to excite the molecule with energy, such that photons of light rebou...

I think so... a while back.... Its cool to here the news for the game as I've been looking for a new scifi rpg to play that breaks the old cliches. I'm glad you think the combat system is up to, and I can't wait to try it out... it'll be an excuse to jump back into the d20 system (its been 9 years) ...

Ben on the lines of combat is it ok to say that the system implimented is usuable in a cinematic "roleplay" fashion than a "roll dice play" manner that I normally attribute to DnD... yeap I'm a WWer gamer and like dramatic combat systems that are efficient and don't get bogged do...
