I used a clouds filter, oddly enough, and I find that liberal application of large airbrushes and erasers makes the look like actual clouds...I was quite pround once I figured it out. You can see another example of this at http://members.fortunecity.com/aesca/intro.html

More Garr and the sauriv!

More Groussang and his evil cult! Oh, wait...he died. Hey, that just means I'll have to create a new, more evil villain.

Yeah! How'd you do them clouds? Paint a solid color and then use the smudge tool?

My clouds look a little different.

Well, I've got some pretty campaign-specific monsters, like the Dasho and the Maka, and I'm stuck writing the books for them myself (not that I'm complaining, mind you). I dunno what other kinds you could have...perahps some undead stuff. I come up with way too much undead stuff on my own for my Tal...

Ah. It's a sort of rie-of-passage for some kingdoms to have their princes slay the dragon and take it's heart. There are some places where the "energysts" (the crystalized remains of dragon hearts) are mined for use in building guymelefs....think of an elephant graveyard on a reptilian sca...

Why thank you. I consider myself the master at making bad art look better through photoshop. You're looking at one of my favorite filterin' tricks.

This is actually proto-art for the setting I'm doing after the Aesca site is fully up.

Actually, it's spelled "Ixitxachitl." It's pronounced "ish-it-sha-chit-l."

They're all evil fishmen to me.

You know, where Mr. Author likes to pretend he's an artist.

Actually a pic for an Advanced Class called a Punker Daemon...did this in only a couple of hours or so, that's why the poor quality.

Yes, it is on video, and DVD. Actually, the series is pretty European and very gritty. Though Hitomi is Japanese, a lot of the other names, Alan Scherezade, Vaughn Fenel, and so on, as well as the architecture of the world of Gaia, reflects a Europena environment. Lots of conspiracy and political ma...

Hmm... currently, I'm reading The Big O, but I'm not really mcuh into buying comics. I prefer to buy the graphic novel anthologies. Favorites are Age of Reptiles, 3x3 Eyes, Neon Genesis, and anything that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Actually, it hearkens me back to the goo old days of AD&D SpellJammer........which had ships in space, oddly enough. Big galleons and bizarre designs.

It was redone as "Shaodw of the Spider Moon" in a Dungeon magazine, but I don't have it with me right now.

Hey, cool.

I dunno. I guess I'd like to see some other valleys....you know, other creatures that may have evolved on earth, as well. What if the permian extinction never took place? Or the cambrian?

Yeah! Bad Mojo!

Actually, It's be really cool to see Complete Guides for new monsters, though those won't sell as well. They'd still be neat to see, though.

How about something on Locathah? I don't think I've ever seen that done before.

Yeah...nothing beats a huge, scaly bison tearing up the plains charging you direction...faster than any animal that big should be a ble to move. I've always thought about the power such a creature would have, and I'm always left feeling a little inadequate.

I'm starting a d20 Modern campaign set in a pre-atomic age that never was, with dinosaurs, giant robots, magitech, and a liberal dose of late '40s style and pulp action. It'll be kind of like Batman: The Series meets Jurassic Park and Final Fantasy. I really like the way Modern turned out. I also li...

Oh, yeah. Sliders would be pretty cool. I remember I once played in a Sliders-type Planescape game once. It was really weird, as we kept skipping to the prime materials all over the place.......our DM came up with some great alternate earths. The only problem with Sliders was that it sorta went down...
