The wights surprise attack is partially foiled as one of the wights lands between Duran and Arisitrina. Both swing at the same time, Duran taking the low road and Arisitrina taking the high road. An urgosh spear-tip impales itself in the wight's leg, then is viciously torn free only for the axe-head...

No worries. 8)

Give me some time to reply to the post, though. The Council of Peers in Silverymoon just passed a vote to allow 300 Helmite soldiers to reinforce their villages because of conflicting reports about a "ghost army" and a recently discovered Harper corpse.

Ox's Listen Check: 12 Duran, you hear the hush of breath above you, and you spot a pair of wights wrapped in fog and shadows as they drop from the trees towards the party. Your Initiative, Duran Arisitrina, your spell notices the wights the moment they leave the forest. You fall into a ready postur...

The whole party moves forward, in what feels must be north. The little girl soon fades from sight entirely, but the moving shadows around the group seem to move closer, but in utter silence. After just a few moments, however, the forest breaks and the fog diminishes. Canyon walls surround the forest...

By the by, sorry I'm late with a gaming post. I just marathoned my way through twenty-five pages of an Oakthorn novel and I am mentally and physically sore. Somehow.

Anyways, I'll get a post... posted... sometime Wednesday morning! Promise

Welcome back, Chrissy. Glad to see you're feeling better. Or least less... druggy. *Blinks* As our resident fairyphile, I'd be grateful or any ideas on a renamed fairy realm. Maybe Shee? Hmm... Heh heh. Aenwyn is the name of the gods in the druid religion. I wanted quick and easy names, here, people.

Kazi's Spot Check Result: In the swirling fog there is nothing to see but shadows and flickers of movement. There is little doubt that you are surrounded, but by what you can't tell. However, you notice the shadow of the little girl skipping into the distance. She seems to be heading straight north...

A good way to go for evil campaigns is to make the characters into anti-heroes: doing seemingly good deeds but for the wrong reasons. They want to kick a current tyrant off the throne to claim it for themselves, they want to slay a menacing dragon to spend his hoard on building an army, they wish to...

Kazi's Knowledge Check Result: Rumors run like sap through Skullwood. The Legion of Red is progressing slowly from the north, trying to slash and burn their way through the forest, the fey have either gone mad or hide in their hidden glades, elves rampage through the eastern side of the forest, sla...

Ox just snorted. The way bald folk danced around the point rather than making one never ceased to bother him. It was probably because their skulls were so soft. "Teal won't be happy havin' to pay more people than he sent to get his daughter." Ox said, then before anyone could make an outb...

Kazi, you don't sense anything particularly off about this party, but you've been lost for a while and these are the first folks you've seen in days. Hard to read though they are, they don't seem overtly hostile, despite some of the group's dour looks. Ox let Almarath and Kazi banter while he looke...

Kazi, this is your introduction. Your day was a slow one until you wound up in this forest. You were actually in Skullwood, tracing the subtle symbols left by fellow druids that was meant to lead to a hidden druid enclave somewhere in the western edges of the woods, north of the Crossport territory...

Ox held up his compass. "Might as well move north unless we find a path, or yer spells catch a whiff of the wights. Keep close, everyone." The vaquero started forward, leading the group into the foggy wood. Around you, sounds are muted and vision is reduced to five feet in front of you. As...

I like them all. Aenwyn is like the "source" of all souls in the world, it's where they begin from their primal state, and druids are trying to return to that source. Opheus (I might change the name to Ypheus, just 'cause) is really unique, but what's better, it gives you limitless rolepla...

Ox gave his head a shake. "Save yer spells." He flicked at his beard and stepped up close to the fog, brushing at the thick white tendils with his hand. "It's cold." He said, and shuddered, the hairs on his body standing up. He took a breath, and stepped into the fog, vanishing f...

While we're using these forums, I'd like to announce three new planes of existence for the Spellburn world. I noticed a stark lack of neutral planes and decided to include a handful. The three are inner planes known as: Aenwyn, the Eternal Nature Believed to be the source of all primal souls and the...

Game Rolls should be shown, and Results should be in bold Example: Ox swung at the goblin savage with a right hook. Attack Roll: (d20) 15 + 6 (AB) = 21 Damage: 6+4 ...
