Re: How does one access Sublevel 6B????

Thanks!! What is funny is that is exactly where I was going to put it! Great minds... You would think that the monk who initiated the building of an intricate library would have at least put a more direct route than through a passageway of ants. A secret tunnel perhaps but not one where he would ha...

This thread is the one for you:

Castle Whiterock had a lot of moving parts, and this one slipped through. This link should fix that for you.
Hope you are enjoying the rest of the adventure!

Re: Posting Castle Whiterock Conversions to Pathfinder

I wish I could answer this definitively, but I didn't write the upper levels of Whiterock.
If you found that error, it was probably only applied to leader-types.
If I were doing conversions, I'd apply them to all relevant orcfolk.

Re: Another Whiterock campaign begins! (Pathfinder)

Awesome! That was a brutal encounter, but your PCs managed it without a loss, so hat's-off to them!
Yeah, Intimidating Prowess is no joke - my fighter in our regular game has it and it's made a few "negotiations" a whole lot easier.

Re: Castle Whiterock - L10 maps question.

I'm checking my original maps, and it looks like the two staircases in 17 lead to the two staircases in 26. One is to the right of 29 and the other to the left of 30. They should be the only two staircases that lead to that level of the Bleak Theater. Your first thought is right about the staircase ...

Re: Homebrew Campaign Setting resources?

This is advice I've given before, but I think it still holds true. In my opinion, the most important resources you can have when writing for publication or writing for homebrew are: - an inquisitive mind that asks "How can I use this?" - a notepad If you're at a zoo and learn about the eco...

Re: Castle Whiterock Question (new question added about map)

Hey guys, glad to know the old girl has some life left in her! Thanks for running/reading CW ! While were on the subject of the Library, I have a silly question. Where is the entrance to the Library, it doesn't seem to line up on any maps. Is it just sort of an encounter "that happens" whe...

Re: DCC Errata Log

Additional Castle Whiterock errata:

The "X" in area 12-24 that indicates the entrance to Pelltar's secret lab is missing.

The GM can put it anywhere, but the author's intent was that it be located in the north-east-most corner of area 12-24.

Great minds thinking alike? Possibly. Even if you can't post it here (that'll be up to Joseph), PM me where you end up p...

So no tourney for 2010. Next year is a whole new ball game.

Isle of the Sea Drake suffered a bit from "early-4E-itis," a disease that I've since thankfully been able to cure. Here's how you could change it to an appropriate EL 3 encounter: Imocotzi = unchanged Skeletal braves = add 2 more, for 6 total 2 rot spike traps 1 filth spewer trap This con...
