Re: Placing Castle Whiterock in the Wilderlands

Not aware of anyone at present using DCCs in the Wilderlands setting ... then again ... there is still an ample supply of old Judges Guild fodder from way back when that has never made it back around into publication during the last attempt to jump start things. Might be a good question to ask on th...

Re: Supporting multiple systems within the DCC's

I did like the suggestion of a DCC RPG. Considering the setting is already in place it might not be a bad idea ... tho' admittedly you would most likely face stiff competition in this arena from Pathfinder, True20, etc. unless you truly have something unique to offer. Perhaps there is a happy mediu...

Re: Supporting multiple systems within the DCC's

Diversification of the product line is always a good idea; however, I am not certain that adhering to a 4E base design with downloadable stats for previous versions would necessarily work as an all around solution for the majority of the potential customer base. In part due to the potential amount o...

Judges Guild & OSRIC

Since OSRIC 2.0 was officially released last week, I was wondering what the general thoughts would be on using this with the Wilderlands, or if general preferences remained elsewhere. I suppose my main reason for asking about OSRIC is that in one of the threads on EN World it was stated that once th...

Using older real world texts ...

When inspiration is needed ... I have been turning to Google Books lately for some real world references and thought the following might be useful ... Re: DCC#53: Sellswords Of Punjar

I ordered this module today from my local game store A to Z Comics.

Hmmm ... now there's a place I haven't been to in many a year. Then again, with my odd work schedule and high gas prices I don't get out to Blue Springs very often anymore.

d20/STL and Judges Guild pdf sales

The thought just crossed my mind ... With the 3.5E d20/STL coming to a close at the end of the year, will the d20 Logo and appropriate accompanying texts be removed from the current Judges Guild pdfs to allow for their continued sale past December 31st? Just curious since there has apparently been n...

Re: Other Judge Guild adventures?

Well ... after asking around it appears that the principals of Eostros have decided to tackle 4E in case the terms of the revised GSL prove to be favorable. Currently I am not too optimistic that the revised GSL will be radically different than the current version which still leaves everything up to...

Re: Other Judge Guild adventures?

Well ... this forum ... and Judges Guild news in general has been pretty sparse for much of this year. I would have hoped by now that the appropriate announcements would have been made and work well under way, but the terms of the GSL have apparently thrown a kink into things even putting the Necrom...

Official Statement from the Bledsaw Family

Dear Guildmembers and Fellow Gamers, It is with deepest regret that I announce that the Judges Guild's President, Bob Bledsaw has been struggling against terminal cancer, and has but a short time left with us. He is in good spirits, with house in order, and is ready to begin "the Great Adventur...

I, for one, hope so all things considered. For now I think the big holdup for the vast majority of 3rd party publishers will be if/when the 4th ed core material becomes available. That is, theoretically speaking of course, if the powers that be can be convinced that 3.5e pdf versions of some modules...

I won't be buying 4e anything. DCC # 52 will be my last . . . <sigh>

Most likely true in my case with the possible exception of any additional 1e modules that Goodman might release in the future. That way I can go back and look for the few DCC modules I missed the first time around.

Dark Tower

It has shipped ... just not everywhere as of yet.

If you ordered from Amazon ... current delivery estimates have been pushed back to January at the earliest as my preorder recently got pushed back over a month. Needless to say, I am not a happy camper at this time.

Would be nice if Amazon would ship Dark Tower sometime soon. I have had it and DCC #48 on preorder since late September and am quite anxious to get my mits on both of them.

Normally purchase items in print form only unless a particular item will be available in electronic form only. So far that has pretty much been limited to Tome of Horrors:Revised since Necro didn't feel like putting out a 3.5e version in print.

Let me say that I'd be thrilled to see 4E versions of your 3E Judges Guild modules I mentioned this to the person currently working on Dark Tower, and I thnk he is presently more concerned about completing the 3.5e version and handing it off to Goodman Games than he is about 4e at this point in tim...

And yet he goes on to say nothing about the prostitute encounter table in the back of the DMG. Some of the early fluffy bits such as tables like this were rumored to have been donated by Bob Bledsaw (Judges Guild) or so some of the stories go. A good example of some odd encounter tables would be th...
