Actually He's not NE, he's suppose to be Neutral.
I've asked a long time ago a similar question and the Answer was that the Evil part should have been strucked out.

Re: AoC 8 - Starfall Over the Plateau of Leng - April 2014
Wow 53 Hours to go and so far a bit over 8K has been pledged (No including any pre-ordered AoC 8 that is.) and so far, the sweet sweet loot is: 1) A Hardcover AoC 8 2) A PDF of AoC 8 3) a PDF of a previous module as a bonus (so one of the following: AoC 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7) 4) Perforated tear-out ...

Re: AoC 8 - Starfall Over the Plateau of Leng - April 2014
So what does the Kickstarter means for those like me who has already pre-bought AoC8? Consider yourself grandfathered in, with all the benefits (and stretch goals) of a KS backer at the early-bird price you paid. :) Cool! Out of curiosity, when you include those who pre-bought the module,...

Re: Looking for a non-dungen crawl adventure
Not really...it is called Dungeon Crawl Classic after all. That being said. DCC1 Idyll of the Rat King (DCC27 Revenge of the Rat king) focus in mine and sewer as their Dungeon; DCC 7 The Secret of the Smuggler Cove focus in a sea cave near a village; DCC 10 The Sunless Garden focus in a cave system ...

Pandorum would be perfect.
Essentially you have a colony ship leaving earth, then it jumps forward and one of the crew wakes from cryo and the ship's systems are down.

Re: Metamorphosis Alpha 1E to return in Goodman relaunch
I'm hyped about it and already gave my money.
I've got all 4 editions of MA at home...plus Gamma World (which is kind of a dirivitive of it). I find it's one of the best Sci-Fi setting that offers a lot despite it's simplicity.

Re: AoC 8 - Starfall Over the Plateau of Leng - April 2014
So nothing you cannot translate/use on the fly during a game if using an older module. Yeah' I was looking at the appendix of "Secret of Tibet" (the first 7th ed supplement published) and yeah the conversion is pretty straight forward. And as Tibet is also linked to the Plateau of Leng, y...

Re: Good rule system for a Hobbit/LotR Campaign
The implication is that new products for the line are shortly going to be announced! Huzzah... anyway, possibly rangers and the east of the misty mountains coming up... oh and as for being wrong: well 2014 may see Rohan and Gondor! :) I doubt it. The reason why I doubt it, is that TOR "focus&q...

Re: Good rule system for a Hobbit/LotR Campaign
Basically there is 3 RPG out there that focus on Middle-Earth: MERP (RoleMaster and Lord of the Ring Adventure included) (I.C.E.), Lord of the Rings (Decipher) and The one Ring (Cubicle 7). Unfortunately, the first 2 are out-of-print. Each has their Strength and weakness and each cater to a differen...

Re: AoC 8 - Starfall Over the Plateau of Leng - April 2014
It does sound like 7th edition is interesting, but a lot more different from the previous editions than I had anticipated. Seems like 1st-5th at least were very similar to one another and I assume 6th is as well. Yes, 6 is very similar to earlier edition. I own the 4th edition "Oriental Expres...

So, give 7th edition a try, Boneguard. You might like it, but I suspect that you will continue to still love 6th ed. I might as you can get 7th edition introduction rules (and I have preordered the Secret of Tibet and planning to get the Orient Express reprint). But I'm the kind of guy who -once I ...

Re: Petting ready to start a game - have questions
Under Potions it says the GM rolls instead of player. I'm not following why that would be necessary when a potion is chosen from an eligible list based on the roll. What am I missing? Until the player drinks the potion or have it identify, they have no clue what it is. So having the GM roll and not...

And I,m really happy they are exploring the Dreamland, that's something I wanted to see.

Re: Elves Live So Very Long, And Yet...
I was reading something, dont recall now where though, that there was a certain amount of racial memory osmosis that occured. The jist of it was that elves live so long that they actually forget things, which is why stories are so important to their culture as its a way for them to remember. The ot...

Re: Failed House Rules
You could just have excluded backstab from the rule (i.e. daggers would do max BASE damage, not the special backstab damage). Depends on the edition In 1st and 2nd edition (and IIRC Original D&D/BECMI) Backstab give a damage multiplier to your damage eg dagger damage x2. In which case A Dagger ...
