The Rumley Ridge mine was going strong until things changed and magic began returning. When the silver mine dried up, most folks went away, but some stayed and just became hillfolk. They traded bits of silver and hunted to make ends meet, but the grew strange and isolated. Then folks began to disappear.
Last night, a great fire lit up the darkness and a whole wagon caravan was found burnt the following morning. The sherrif found tracks leading into the hills and rode out with his deputies, but he should have returned or at least sent word back by now. No other law will reach here for days, if anyone is getting saved then you’re the ones doing the saving.
