Finneus, the foppish and flamboyant local Halfing Thane, has begun construction on an opulent underground dwelling. It wasn’t long before the locals refused to work in the Thane’s tunnels, stating that they were haunted by nightmares and bad luck.
In response, Finneus refused to pay them for their work, brought in a group of dwarven craftsmen to finish the job, and has largely disappeared from public view.
You have been tasked by the local craftsman’s guild to find a group of missing stewards sent to the construction site to recover the unpaid wages.
4-5 players.
NOTE: This is a 1st level halfling-themed adventure, so most of the PCs will be halfings. The available character choices will reflect that.
