An OSR Block Game at MEPACON
Part 2 – not required to play in both sessions. Playtest of a new 3PP 1st level adventure for the Dungeon Crawl Classics ruleset, inspired by a classic 1950s science fiction thriller and puts a weird twist on the classic city-themed, fantasy crawl.
Road-weary adventurers arrive in town at nightfall and are forced by preternatural rain to seek shelter in a run-down merchant district. As they explore the meager amenities available to them, they start to suspect that some of the taciturn townsfolk are involved in an insidious plot that threatens to destroy the town and everyone in it. Is someone or something manipulating the good people of Throckmorton Square? The adventurers will have to hurry if they hope to put a stop to these strange goings on before whatever it is takes them all.
Play with the author Judge Greg “Bug Professor” presiding. Pre-gen characters provided. Theater of the mind, rules light. Includes mild weird-horror elements. Lines, veils, and X-card upon request.
