Tales from the Smoking Wyrm is back on Kickstarter with a new zine ready to be published! Not only will you get awesome new missions, magic items, and patrons, but also a new 0-level DCC character sheets are also available for your games!
What is in this issue?
The tenth issue contains nine features, usable by both players and judges:
- New Patron: Mimir—Straight out of Norse legends and onto your gaming table! Mimir is perfect for wizards and elves, but also trolls—since he is a giant and related to trolls in norse mythology.
- Cullpepper’s Herbal—This installment of Cullpepper’s Herbal focuses on the herbs, beets, betony, and possibly the leaves of Yggdrisal itself, if we can squeeze them in!
- Mimir missions—Want to use that new patron, but not sure how to workout that patron quid-pro-quo? The giant of knowledge likes to challenge his followers, and rewards them richly if they succeed. 7 mini-challenges to challenge those who barter for knowledge with Mimir.
- Expanded Occupations—100 more occupations to make your 0-level peasants even more peasanty. Rules for integrating this table with the DCC RPG rulebook list—giving you 200 occupations to work from! Long live occupational diversity!
- Alternate DCC Skill system—This brief update to the standard rules delivers the full dice chain to skill checks with little modification to the game itself.
- Piety in DCC—This short article gives you some additional scope and rules for those who believe. Bringing a little faith to every character can be a very good thing.
- Flail Snails!—A classic re-imagined into four different DCC adversaries!
- Onward Retainer, starring the Legion—The tenth installment of our adventuring comic in an old school style, brought to you by Joel Phillips!
- Wyrm Words—A word puzzle of all the Gygaxian words in the tenth issue—this way, a definition is never in doubt! Also included are the answers to the Issue #9’s Wyrm Words.
