GrandCon Recap!

This past weekend was a busy one! Goodman Games had a presence at four separate shows, including GrandCon in Michigan. Here’s a recap from Judge Nick Baran about the show:

Over Labor Day weekend, Goodman Games swept into Grand Rapids, Michigan for the 10th exhibition of GrandCon. Across the weekend, I ran The Precipice of Corruption and Tragedy at Wood-Witch Rise for DCC but failed to document my packed tables. I need to make a checklist for myself!

The show’s real stars were Keith Nelson and his son, Tor. Keith ran An Occurrence at Howling Crater by Levi Combs and Jeff Scifert for Weird Frontiers, and Tor ran the DCC Lankhmar adventure, Rats of Ilthmar. Based on the waitlists for these sessions, Grand Rapids could use another Judge or two next year, so put that on your to-do list. I got to talk to many passionate DCC and MCC fans, and I even stumbled into what appeared to be a neon lord in training.

Shout out to the extremely enthusiastic GrandCon staff and volunteers who put in long days to make the event a success!
