This coming Labor Day weekend (Friday Aug 30 – Sunday Sept 1) you will find Goodman Games exhibiting at the 10th GrandCon in splendid Grand Rapids, Michigan. This convention covers the gamut of tabletop gaming with board games, CCGs, miniatures, and of course, RPGs all being represented.
You can find Judge Nick Baran slinging books and dice in the exhibition hall from 10am-6pm on Friday & Saturday, and from 10am-4pm on Sunday. You can also jump on the wait list for both of his sold-out sessions Friday & Saturday night, or just wander by Convention Hall C to see him guide his players from fearful peasants into cutthroat mercenaries!
Gateway 2024 in Los Angeles is coming up this Labor Day Weekend. The last Strategicon of the year and as always it is at the LAX Hilton. Hopefully the heat has not melted your brain or your dice. Spending time in an air-conditioned hotel playing games all weekend sounds like a wonderful idea.
There are 10 DCC games on the schedule right now and I am excited to see that a judge is running Crypt of the Devil Lich over 3 sessions. DCC games fill up fast so be sure to sign up if you have not already done so. Then stop by the booth to do some shopping.

The Los Angeles Strategicon gaming conventions are held 3 times a year. They are all at the LAX Hilton. OrcCon is President’s Day Weekend in February, Gamex is Memorial Day Weekend in May, and Gateway is Labor Day Weekend in September. So if you can’t attend one, another one is just a few months away. Or, if all those holiday weekends are free and you want to play some games why not come to them all. We’ll be there!
