The Skull’s Peerless Magazine announces new covers!
Tales From the Magician’s Skull Issue No. 8, currently available for pre-order, will be available in both the Online Store and from retailers starting on Wednesday, November 2nd—that’s next week! But that’s just the start of our Skull-related news in the wake of The Day of Might.
Our mono-orbed Overseer has recently cracked his ghost-whip and stirred up even more productivity in his minions—sending TFTMS Issue 9 to the printers, as Issue 10 nears the layout stage! We wanted to celebrate this soon-to-be milestone of ten issues by highlighting the cover art for issues for both No. 9 and 10, from the great Sanjulian!
Issue No. 9 will feature a new Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser story, officially licensed by the estate of Fritz Leiber. The cover of No. 10 illustrates C.L. Werner’s Demon Rats, a tale of Werner’s regularly-appearing samurai adventurer, Shintaro Oba.
Each issue of Tales From the Magician’s Skull is packed full of the cutting edge of today’s sword-and-sorcery talent, offering a half-dozen stories, distinctive interior art, articles, essays, and asides, and even statlines to convert our writers’ visions into playable DCC reality.
