As many of our fans know, Goodman Games makes a point of attending local conventions nationwide. In addition to “the big shows,” you can find us and our products at smaller cons in every state of the union. DCC RPG, MCC RPG, and the rest of our titles are fun to play, and we’re happy to show up in person to demonstrate that!
With this convention-friendly approach in mind, we’re very excited to announce that we have partnered with industry veteran Jim Crocker to further expand our convention. In addition to the dozens of conventions we already attend, we will now have representation at even more! Jim will represent Goodman Games with fully branded booths throughout his territory in the northeast USA. For 2020 this will mean many new shows, while for the remainder of 2019 we will be adding fully branded booths at these new shows:
- Con on the Cob – October 3-6, Richfield, Ohio
- Carnage Con – November 1-3, Killington, Vermont
- Metatopia – November 7-10, Morristown, NJ
- U-Con – November 22-24, Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, MI
In addition, where a fully branded booth is not available, Jim will represent Goodman Games titles in his existing booth. This will include the following cons:
- Boston FIG (Festival of Indie Games) – September 14, Harvard University
- Flaming River Con – September 21, Cleveland, OH
- Gauntlet Con – October 24-27, online
Jim has been a fixture in the gaming industry for many years, with experience at all levels. He managed and owned brick and mortar game shops from the late 90s through 2018. He’s been a fixture at Northeast tabletop conventions (as Modern Myths, Inc) since the mid-2000s, including Pax East and Pax Unplugged since their inceptions. These days, as Jim Likes Games LLC, he specializes in cutting-edge indie and small press RPGs via his partnership with Indie Press Revolution and relationships with dozens of independent designers. Find him on Twitter: @jimlikesgames and on the internet at jimlikesgames.com. He’s the creator and host of Just Played, an RPG recap podcast.
