Support Gaming Legend Rick Loomis in his Battle Against Cancer

Goodman Games has long supported the industry’s founders, and one of the industry’s legends is currently battling cancer and could use your support to pay his medical bills. You may know the works of Rick Loomis through his character Grimtooth the Troll. Rick’s company, Flying Buffalo, is the original publisher of Grimtooth’s Traps, as well as many other titles including the popular game Nuclear War. And now Rick needs our help.

Grimtooth’s artist Steve Crompton has created a GoFundMe page to help support Rick and get his medical bills paid. Everyone here at Goodman Games encourages you to go and help this man out.

Here’s an excerpt from the GoFundMe page:

Rick Loomis has been an important part of the game industry for almost 50 years, and now he is in the fight of his life with cancer. Even though he is a US Army veteran and qualifies for medicare, Rick’s share of the medical bills are now in the tens of thousands of dollars. Please help his family through this terrible time and help keep the legacy of Flying Buffalo going strong.

Open your heart, and share a little bit of your wallet, to help out one of the founding fathers of gaming.

And if you want another way to support Rick, a Bundle of Holding has been made in his behalf, with proceeds going to him and his family! Check it out at the link below!
