The Lesser Key to the Celestial Legion is the new supplement being produced by Psychoda Press. The book is the brainchild of Donn Stroud, and it greatly expands upon the gods you can use in your campaign. The meat of the volume is a series tables to help you generate messengers of the gods. As they say on their Kickstarter though, it doesn’t end there: they will also cover things like relics, reliquaries, duties of clerics, the roles of religion, and much more.
Here’s a description from their Kickstarter page:
The Lesser Key to the Celestial Legion has over 35 tables, is filled with art, and is specifically written to be compatible with DCC RPG. Much of the book is narrative, evocative, and loose enough to be used with almost any role-playing game. Mechanical aspects can easily be converted on the fly to any OSR or D20 system. The physical book will be 8.5 x 11, black and white, and currently has 36 pages. This could be expanded to 40-44 with stretch goal content.
The campaign has already raced past the first three stretch goals, and is well on its way towards the next. It is written by Donn Stroud and James A. Pozenel, Jr., with art by Wayne Snyder, Dan Domme, Jayna Pavlin, Craig Brasco, Adam B Forman, Sam Stroud, Stefan Poag, and Sean McCoy.
Another piece of good news: the book is already 98% completed, so there won’t be a long wait time between the end of the campaign and its release!
