Let’s get to the point: We want fans to run introductory Dungeon Crawl Classics games at Gen Con. And we’ve got some incentives to get you to do it.
What do we mean by that? For one thing, “Introductory” means level 0, level 1, or level 2, with pregen characters. They are focused on published adventure modules, designed for newcomers and experienced gamers alike. What we do NOT want is any “alternate settings” (i.e. no MCC or Xcrawl or other DCC spinoffs)—we want “the classic DCC experience” for new gamers. Don’t get us wrong, we love those settings, but we need help with the core DCC material right now. We want YOU to run some classic DCC intro adventures at Gen Con, plain and simple.
What’s in it for you? Glad you asked!
If you run games for us at Gen Con, we’ll help you make it to the con! Specifically, if you run 4 sessions of DCC RPG over the course of the con, you’ll get reimbursed for your badge—and we’ll also give you a $100 credit for housing. That’s right, we’re willing to pay for your badge and help with the housing cost. You just have to run 4 DCC events at the show.
Interested? Email Taco Jon and submit your events! Tell us the adventure you’re running and the times you want.
Act fast! First-round Gen Con submissions are due in a week. We can always submit your event in the second round but then we don’t get prime selection for your desired time slots!
