an insidious threat. Game play in Morningstar includes a new system for
spectrum magic, a new level-based approach to the elder races (complete

conspiracies ruled by the eye tyrants...

with the book!
8/5/03 - THANKS! Gen Con and GameFest Milwaukee were both a blast.
It was great talking to everyone who came by our booth. Now, at long last,
here's a proper update to the web site.

next week. This is an awesome martial arts sourcebook with huge potential
for any monk or martial artist player, as well as GMs crafting martial
arts campaigns.
Second, the Complete Guide to Beholders is shipping to distributors
and should be in stores in two weeks. This book unfortunately missed Gen
Con, but we did have it at GameFest. It is packed to the gills with startling
revelations on everyone's favorite monster.
Finally, an update on other projects. Morningstar is at the printer;
Monsters of the Boundless Blue is in final edit. And Blackmoor... what
of Blackmoor? It's in its final stages, and we'll post more information
soon...

Con. First, Dave Arneson has penned a special Dungeon Crawl Classics. Number

Come by, get an autograph, and say hi!
7/14/03 - In the Amusing Conversations Department, Joseph Goodman
of (you guessed it) Goodman Games was interviewed by Mortality Radio this
past weekend. Listen
to it here (scroll to the July 11th show).
In the Dang, We're Behind Schedule Department, Morningstar is in its
final edit. We've moved its release date to September. Believe me, it's
worth the wait. The book is beautiful, and it's a fascinating setting.
This world has Secrets -- with a capital S -- that even the author won't
reveal; only upon reading the book a second time do they even start to
become clear. To make the wait a little easier, we've posted a few new
sample
images...

page with more contributor bios - check them out!
2/22/02 - There is a lot in development for Dinosaur Planet:
Broncosaurus Rex, and we've added some sneak previews to keep you tantalized.
First, the Cretasus Adventure Guide is still on schedule for April release.
This volume is a must-have for the Broncosaurus Rex gamer; not only does
it deliver some intriguing background information about the world of Cretasus
and its inhabitants (both human and dinosaur), it also includes prestige
classes for Dino Warriors and Federal Marshals, full stats and background
on the Union ironclads, stats for a horde of new prehistoric beasts, complete
vehicle rules, and rules and background for the alien Scray (who, as you
may know, helped the Union develop their ironclads). Here
is a sneak preview of some of the interior art.
Second, many of you probably caught the sneak preview of Dinosaur Planet:
Broncosaurus Rex in Gaming
Frontiers #1. There will be an original article in Gaming Frontiers
#2 (due out in April) covering the psionic powers of the protoceratops.
The article also expands on the role of the alien Scray in the development
of Cretasus, and spotlights some of their psychic weapons. Here
is a sneak preview of some of the art.
Finally, we have updated a few sections of the web site. About
Goodman Games includes links to the sites of some of our contributors,
and About Broncosaurus Rex now includes
links to several reviews of the game (all of which have been quite enthusiastic!). |
