I'll be there, with bells on. Well, actually, with a black ballcap on, which in retrospect is nothing like bells.

Edit: If Jengenritz actually wears bells, I'll pay extra.

I expect to be there, although something could take priority! My wife and I are in the middle of adopting a child from China, and based on our current guess about when we'll be traveling, Gen Con -- wouldn't you know it? -- falls right in the middle of that window! (At least I'll soon have an excuse to get the Cthulhu plush toy..!)

You don't need kids to have an excuse to get a Cthulhu plush toy...no kids for me, but I have one of the smaller Cthulhus that mounts my Xmas tree each year as the "angel" on top.

I think Chalychia miniature would make a good Christmas tree angel. I'll have to try that.

I'll be there. I travel for a living and collect a lot of vouchers, and never bother to take vacations. So I might as well use those flights for something other than work. I am quite excited!

Congrats. Some general GenCon advice:

1. Play in the Dungeon Crawl Classics tournament. Post here and see if you can get a team together.

2. Stop by the Goodman Games booth early. Those boys sell out of their GenCon product FAST.

3. Schedule lots of games, but leave in breaks...especially leave in time to wander the exhibit hall and demo games.

Yeah. I think we have pictures from ths 1st year (2nd place team, 1st place individual) and last year.

We also have some photos of the final round of Crypt of the Devil Lich.

I wish we had taken some photos of Palace in the Waste...particularly when Superfan's maps were out...but we forgot (I think we were too engrossed to remember).

No. At one time, I maintained a website for our group, but I haven't done that in awhile (and let the domain name expire).

Now I run and maintain a cluster of servers...so I'll probably put up a site again sometime...

Okay, I'm curious...why do you ask?

i'm joking. actually i'm just excited about gencon and want to build that enthusiasm here around the boards........and since i'll never win the tournament i'd love to see what it looks like when someone does. 8)

off topic to grodog:
whatever happened to the cd with all the scans of gygax's old gaming notes? i'd still pay a pretty penny for that.
