I am not complaining but it I would like to read it
If it was posted the 22nd May it really should have arrived by now. While I've known one or two packages to take that long from the US, those were sent surface mail, and even then they took longer than would be usual. Having been sent airmail, it shouldn't have taken more than a couple of weeks. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like it has been eaten by the postal service.
Got issue #2 in the mail yesterday. I'm so glad to have a regular gaming magazine arrive in the mail again!
I subsribed to Dragon for years, even after they switched to 3E and I didn't. I really like getting something like this in the mail every month. The TLG magazine The Crusader looked like it would fill a similar role, but they've been doing other things and the magazine hardly ever comes out.
Hoping that CRAWL! is here to stay for a long time! (Crosses fingers)

Thank you guys so much. It's all of you that makes it worth it! I look forward to working on each issue, and I get excited with every submission I received. I hope to have TOO MUCH content every month, so it guarantees a next!

Somehow I missed this, sorry! But the patron spells for Van den Danderclanden will not be in #2. Unless he manages to twist time & space so they can fit in the future...
But they're finished! And will appear in a future issue, for sure.

I've had two different players choose Van den for a patron, had to change the name of the second one to Von der Danderclanden
I really enjoyed reading this issue! I too feel great about looking forward to getting a gaming magazine in the mail. Very great ideas come out of Crawl. Thanks for giving it to us.
Ordered my copies yesterday... assuming they're awesome, I'll pick up a subscription.
So how does submitting work? Do you have a theme for each issue? My campaign kicks off Thursday night, so I may have some stuff to contribute here shortly re: setting ideas and economics.

The info. you seek is found at the "Submissions" button at the Crawl! blog HERE. Thus far the issues have been themed, yes.
Colin is right. My submission guidelines are on that webpage. But it's pretty simple, send me a proposal, via email, and we'll go from there. Don't send me any attachments until I ask for them, although links are OK for pics. I prefer unformatted text on Google Docs, though basic .doc files are OK.
The following focused or themed issues are coming up-ish:
For Judge's
For Player's
Monsters
Magic (the next issue)
Aquatic & Maritime adventures
Traps & Tricks
There might be some issues with only a general theme, but not as strictly focused.

Received both Crawl! #1 and #2 today! Wow that was really quick order fulfillment & mailing! All I have to say is I enjoyed them both so much that I couldn't put them down and read through both of them post haste!

You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoy them. I do my best to get each and every order out the door as soon as I can. It gets confusing when they pile up, so I don't let them.

Now I just wish that they had more of a shelf presence heheh they get hidden by the other books. May have to sell a nice sleeve for a years worth of issues to keep them all nice and neat with the other books .

I'm actually considering a slip-case! Probably around the time of #6.

That would be handy. I spent 3 hours on Saturday hunting for #2. It was eventually found under my wife's knitting magazines.
