How to calculate saves?
The explanations for the stats say that they INFLUENCE the saving throws, but I'm not sure if that means that they're the only thing that goes into them.
For instance, a Fortitude saving throw. Is it just your stamina bonus? Or something else?

Stamina bonus plus class bonus based on level.

So at level 0 it's just Stamina then. Got it.

take note that some birth augurs can change, if luck stat is either high or low enough, saves and other scores.

I think if you change the word 'influences' to 'modifies' on page 20, it might help out... As it is, it avoids saying that the "modifiers modify".

Oops, meant to say level 0, yeah.
re, birth augurs changing: do you mean after burning luck? I thought your birth augur was just fixed along with the luck score itself from the beginning no matter what you do.

Meaning (I think; correct me if I'm misinterpreting what you've said, catseye) that there are some augurs that will adjust Saves, beyond the base rule of Class bonus + Ability Mod.catseye yellow wrote:if luck stat is either high or low enough, some birth augurs can change saves and other scores.
Also, some people play with birth augur result as a permanent number, and some play that it shifts with rising and falling Luck scores. And of course, Luck itself can change dramatically over time...

and while there is no 'correct' way to play, rules are crear that augur values remain fixed even if luck changes.
