No sign of a late 2015 Kickstarter and with the 4th printing underway this may be delayed further

I know. it's disappointing but the clear cut pure human bias at Goodman games has struck again!

Word under the street is that it will not last much longer though! With operation Dirty Java in full swig and Joseph Goodman's notorious coffee habit we expect him to switch sides any day now.

Humans are mutants anyway; rumour has it they used to be fish

MutoX,

I had made a post involving MCC in the DCC RPG G+ community. Jim responded in the comments with an update, though it looks like information is still unknown.

I heard the book is in layout, just waiting for the Dark Lord to say when....

I am a lot less excited about this books than I was before I heard scratch and sniff was off the table. The author clearly sold out once the big bottle caps started rolling in. He doesn't even know who he is anymore. Just the other day I say him walking down the street in a new pair of hatshoes, just hopping from head to head never a thought to who he was treading on.

Is sad really once the power and caps go to their head.

I know right?

I mean I like hatshoes as much as any man!

Striding from noggin to noggin above the crowds.

Anyone can get caught up in that dizzying height but it's far worse when you are a young splurb with a new godlike rpg under your belt. When women and amphibians are just throwing themselves at you hoping to bed you for bragging rights on the con floor. Also the caps loose all meaning when you are literally having dump trucks full of cash raining down around you from your expected earnings off the rpg.

It's so hard to keep a clear mind and still remember the little people.

With no scratch and sniff, the little people are clearly being left behind.

I'm curious how many here have actually played MCC? I was able to get in a 0-level funnel session with Jim Wampler back in November at Gameholecon. Being 0-level, we didn't get to fool with mutations much until the very end. But it was a ton of fun, and, being an old Gamma World geek from 1st ed, it scratched my itch, for sure. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished good come to market.

Anyone else have experience with the game, pre-publication? I'd love to hear what others thought!

Forrest, I play-tested it early on w/ Jim at Gateway Games here in Cincinnati. I don't want to reveal anything w/o Jim's consent, but let me stress that if (a) you like Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG, and (b) you liked Gamna World, then I honestly cannot fathom how you wouldn't feel the same about MCC. Jim's got a guaranteed home run on his hands.

Awesome!

Insert crazed mutation oriented propaganda post here because I'm too busy playing The Elder Scrolls Online game to do it myself right now!

From Gary Con:

Children of the Fallen Sun Playtest

The star crashed down from far above, its long red tail dividing the sky in two like a bloody, dripping wound. All eyes of the tribe—mutant, manimal, and plantient alike—were transfixed by the resulting explosion seen on the horizon.

Some proclaim this is the Second Death, foretold within the Ancient Prophecy. But one venerable sentient redwood recognizes it as the Sky Arc of the Ancients, whose mysteries must be explored before they are exploited by enemies of the tribe. What perils and mysteries will lay within the Sky Arc? Only the heartiest of your species have a chance of surviving the dangers that accompany the arcana of the ancients.

Fallen Sun is a 0-level funnel for Mutant Crawl Classics written by Stephen Newton

From the Goodman Games new:

The “What’s New With Goodman Games” seminar (Saturday 10:00 AM) will have the usual assortment of exciting previews and special guests, but also we’ll be launching our next Kickstarter during the seminar!

Sounds promising!

Anyone know more?
Maybe tomorrow or monday?
