Are there Elves and Dwarves in Lankhmar?

Post by Blustar »

I've read a bunch of Leiber's books but not all of them. Were there ever any Dwarves or Elves in his stories?

thanks

None that I am aware of. No clerics listed either.

One of the books in the boxed set will include options for running the game without non human races or clerics but if that's your jam, keep them in.

there are ghouls, ice gnomes and intelligent rats. but i think none of them, with the possible exception of ghouls, are viable as player race.

Nothing keeps you from introducing them as dimensional travellers, though. Who knows what comes and goes through Ningauble's caves... Just make sure they feel they are very unique - probably the only member of their race in Nehwon!
