I have Into the Borderland and Isle of Dread is on the way.

Any word what the next one might be?

No hints yet. But maybe before GenCon?

Given that:

1) B1 and B2 are definitely the most popular Basic modules (although arguably not the best),
2) They've only done Basic and Expert modules so far (possibly because WotC doesn't want Greyhawk material out there that they didn't publish at this time),
3) Everything past the Expert set is much less popular than the B and X series ...

I'd guess X2, Castle Amber is next. It's (sort of) Mystara, got a really interesting backstory and lots of stuff that would lend itself to great essays explaining what the heck this setting and these NPCs are all about, and also adds a ton of unique monsters to 5E, many of which aren't likely to show up elsewhere. (TSR and WotC have been very ambivalent about the magen, for instance, even though they seem like a really cool construct to add to players' repertoires).

Other guesses would be B4, the Lost City, which fits Goodman's sensibilities and has lots of stuff to expand on; B3, Palace of the Silver Princess, which has two versions and merits a whole lot of essays; and, if I'm wrong about Greyhawk, the Slaver series, which are a substantial chunk of modules well worth a $40 hardback and have plenty of room for expansion, and S3, Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, which is a glaring omission in Tales from the Yawning Portal.

But I think Castle Amber makes the most sense.

I'm wondering if the S-series could start showing up. I'm sure Tomb of Horrors would be a good seller, and White Plume Mountain certainly has fans.

WotC has already reissued those for 5E. I'm guessing they wouldn't approve of any competition in that regard. (Notice the Reincarnated Adventures don't get PDFs, for instance, to keep them from spreading uncontrollably.)

Oh, didn't know that... but they'd be really ripe for the archival aspect of this series, though... Maybe in few years?

Other than those, maybe the G series? Or even G-D-Q!

The G series was also in the Tales from the Yawning Portal reissue. (From 1E, it had the G series, S1 and S2.) They're also reissuing the U series as part of a Ghosts of Saltmarsh book in May.

But that leaves a bunch of stone-cold classics still in play, like S3, which would be amazing to get in this format, the D series and Q1, I1, N1, the UK series and the Slavers modules.

It sounds like we might hear about the next volume in the series on Friday at GaryCon, along with another Appendix N license (Conan, maybe?).

That's going to be fantastic. Lots of stuff they can do with that.

What did they announce for their new Appendix N license?

Huh.

Well, you can't accuse Goodman of not following his bliss.
