Hector and Flavia hasten to the fallen Darrow, hacking at his assailant.

Hector, sword (Deed: knock opponent prone): 3+2-2 ~Whiff!~
Hector, shield (Deed, as above): 5+3-2 ~Whiff! Part Deux~
Flavia, sword (Deed: knock opponent prone): 8+2 ~Revenge of the Whiff!~

Chendriss tries his Color Spray spell on the zombies attacking Fritz

Spell check: 8+2 ~Lost~

Darrow bleeds, gurgling for air.

Flavia's sword mortally wounds the bug thing, which crawls away up the wall, squirting vital ichors and gelatinous fluids, and collapses on the roof. The other one, blinded, stumbles as it flees up to the roof, but no one successfully hits it.

The un-dead will engage Hector, Flavia, Fritz, and whoever else is standing there near Darrow/Cathbad. The remaining bugger looks like it's going to fight Fritz.

Once y'all declare actions I'll update...

Orastes and Bypeld both move forward to engage the undead.

Shovel 1d20-2= 8
DMG 1d4-2= 1

Longsword 1d20+1= 15
DMG 1d8+1= 2

Tonunt draws the flask of holy water and attempts to splash it on the undead.

Holy Water 1d20+1+0= 8*
Luck addition 1d3= 2
New attack roll total= 10

DMG= ?

*Tonunt burns 1 pt of luck to add to the attack roll

Fritz' sword hand dances. An insane cackle spills from his mouth.

Black blade 1d20+0+?= 11
DMG 1d8+0+?= 7

Portly Trim floats to Darrow's side.

Lay on Hands 1d20+1+0= 3

The attempt fails. Dissaproval increases to 5.

/ooc Sorry Darrow.

Dang, Bypeld is pretty beastly. Sheesh.

And Portly Trim ... hahaha ... natural 1? You know what THAT means... !

This sound like they are switching targets -- it was a bug that circled and zonked Darrow, and Fritz was surrounded by un-deads.

I'm not arguing -- I just want to know how many free attacks we get as they do-see-do...

Who is close to Cathbad, who might benefit from an enlarge spell?

/ooc I'd say one of the dwarves or warriors unless they are badly wounded.

If given the opportunity, Cathbad casts enlarge on Flavia. Base roll 14, +1 Int, +1 CL = 16. Manifestation 1.

Target visibly enlarges; The target increases in size by 25%, conferring a +1 bonus to attacks, damage, and AC due to greater size and strength.

OK (and yes you're right GB on the un-dead on Fritz, bugger on the others, thanks for catching). Cathbad, don't forget to subtract a point of stamina and get a nasty scar from the wound.

Hector and Flavia engage the bugger that dropped Darrow, but miss wildly. There's a popping, fizzling noise and Chendris's attempt to use his arcane powers sputters and fails.

Bypeld engages one of the un-dead things and chops its arm off, but it isn't downed yet. Orastes brandishes his shovel but doesn't connect for any real damage. Tonunt splashes a bit of holy water on one of the un-dead ... there's no IMMEDIATE, OBVIOUS effect, but she thinks it looks like it's moving a little slower... Fritz neatly cleaves another one in twain, the rotting meat of the thing falls to the ground and the part with the head continues biting at the air.

There is an audible thunder-clap when Portly Trim tries to lay his hands on Darrow. "For thy transgression, seven days shalt thou see neither suns nor moons, nor friend nor foe." Portly Trim is now blind, completely and utterly.

Cathbad struggles to her feet and summons the power within her to enlarge Flavia. (help me out on the manifestation? it was crystal growth and ashes, right?) It works, and there's a strange glow as Flavia becomes larger, almost as big as the bugger.

The bugger attacks her. The first claw connects (16 + 1 = 17) for 4 + 2 = 6 damage, and she falls with a cry of surprise. The bugger then strikes at Hector, but misses (5 + 1 = 6). Only two un-dead remain, and they claw at Fritz with savage abandon... both hit (10 and 11), for a total of 3 + 3 = 6! damage... that likely will drop Fritz, too?

Above and behind you, there's a screeching noise as the other living bugger regains its sight and turns to head back down to join the fight...

Next round? The enemies do not appear to be fleeing or disengaging.

Well, he's bleeding out, not dead quite yet. Although the black blade did just slice off his left foot right above the ankle, as he fell... Oops. (You can burn some luck to make that save and avoid losing the foot, if you want.)

Flavia shoots upward, gaining height and size at an alarming rate, showers of ash and glittery crystal shards falling off of her like a cast off shell as she grows, until she is cut down by the Bug and crumples to the ground.

Ignoring Fritz' comely ankle for the moment, Hector goes bugnuts vs. the Bug!

Sword (Deed: blind the thing): 8+1-2 = 7
Shield (Deed: disorient the thing): 11+3-2 = 12 (if a hit, deed 'works'), damage 1

Chendriss attempts to cast Color Spray to deal with the Bug by Hector and the Bug coming back down the wall...

Spell check: 12+2 = 14, One target (by Hector) must make a Will save or be blinded for (1d4) 3 rounds. Seven of Chendriss appear as the side-effect.

Darrow lays in a heap on the dirt.

Bypeld attempts to finish off the creature he wounded.

Longsword 1d20+1= 16
DMG 1d8+1= 6

Tonunt attempts to stab the bug thing hoping it is blinded.

Dagger 1d20+0-2= 8
DMG 1d4-2= 1
Maybe some backstab damage if it is blind?

Orastes bangs his shovel about.

Shovel 1d20-2= 4

Portly Trim knows his god has forsaken him but refuses to take no for an answer.

"BEGONE!"

Turn check 1d20+1+0+0= 16

Yep. There is a big cloud of ash and crystals grow out of the ground (or whatever you like) as the spell is cast.

You only roll the deed die once, you don't roll it anew on the shield bash too... so, 1 is the deed. At least, that's how we've been playing at table. RC? Anyone else doing something different? I'm pretty sure that's what RAW says.

Uh, didn't he lose the spell last round? You can change your action if so. (I'm pretty sure you got a "Lost" spell check result just a minute ago...)
